What the hell is wrong with you people. Shawn Thornton plays a crucial role on the Bruins and did last year in their stanley cup run. Much rather have this Thornton than the cry-baby bitch Thornton playing in San Jose.

He's a good guy, but Andrew Ference is even cooler. Ha. Andrew is hot and I love his "way". Andrew is friendlier and doesn't come off as a tough cool guy. Thornton kind of does. Andrew is just a great guy and does so much for the community too. Good group of guys on the B's.

yeah he's a chicken shit...PFFFFF.just probably the toughest or one of the toughest guys in the nhl who always fights when he has to and will fight anyone. he's not going to fight if he doesn't have to though, especiall if it puts the team in a disadvantage you STUPID MORON!

Players dont get better then Thorton! He is big in the community and his passion shows everytime he hits the ice. He is a great stand up guy that deserves more recognition!!

He doesnt have a kid, to whoever said he has a daughter. They were doing a thing on the Bruins and they were all shopping for toys for tots and he said "I'm not too good at this shopping thing, i dont have any kids' and in another interview he said "My wife and I just like to explore the city, during the summer we've been lucky enough to go to a few red sox games' this was a week ago during an interview for the winter classic. I dont know him personally or anything but thats what he said so i'm guessing that we can all take what he says to be true.

Hey, I'm a fan of his anyway.....married, kids, no kids, dogs, etc.  He is a real pro, when he refused to punch an opponent recently because they guy's jersey was over his head, that's a real stand up guy.  You go Shawn!

shawn is married! though he does have like to play around a bit, no kids two dogs. he is a super nice guy, i see him at the dog park all the time, really humble..but then again i make more money than him :)

But, I still don't get how people are saying he doesn't have kids...it totally used be on his bio he had a daughter Gracie...and she was there on his bringing the Cup home day.
