you still want him after  tonights loss against toronto he gave up the game winner for toronto for gods sakes He Needs TO GO!!!!!Reply-to:Wow!  Timmy is completely useless on the ice.  Scared to shoot and when he does, cant get the puck to the net.  Too much of a $ussy to hit anyone or make a defensive play.  Doesnt have the hands or wheels he used to have which made everyone think he had potential which is painfully, obviously not there.  Hell probably be our next captain. ----) 0 him!!!!

I saw him out with a really pretty brunette girl, then they came into my work the next day. He was with all of his friends. They were all really nice and polite.

i really don't think timmy is going anywhere, sabres website said lindy put him on the line centering vanek and staffs, i could be completely wrong but lindy has to have a little heads up if he was going or not.  i don't think he would put them back together if there was a chance of him leaving

if we lose tim we can kiss playoffs goodbye
i met tim quite a few times when he was an otter.

on friday i was talking about him in class to this girl who claims to like the sabres (i'm not even fan but i know more than she does. pretty sad.). at the end of class, i'm went to walk out, my teacher stops me and goes "i know tim, i had him in this class, actually."

that made my day.

stay cool tim.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 01 Mar 2009 06:12:54 GMT
"We already lost Drury and Briere, I do not want to loose Tim."

Exactly.  Those two left as free agents, and the Sabres got nothing for them.  In the offseason, someone (Islanders?) is going to pay Connolly for his potential rather than his production.  Why not get a return for him now instead of watching another talented player leave for free agency?
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 01 Mar 2009 05:43:09 GMT
if we lose him for the trade deadline we can kiss the playoffs goodbye. miller and vanek are both out for only god knows how long and connolly is the only chance we have to make a play or score. if we lose him it's probably going to be harder to make up for his lost than brian campbell lost.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 25 Feb 2009 02:18:27 GMT
He is funny and very personable. Somewhat of a wise ass, but arent we all?
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 10 Feb 2009 04:46:31 GMT
Agreed.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 09 Feb 2009 14:17:36 GMT

the best player that has ever came ot the buffalo sabres by far...tim connolly.

half of his goals are when he is in the air or falling by being tripped. he can scan the ice perfectly for passes and can do any move with the puck you want him to.

take it from a hackey player herself.

think he's a bad player? go see a doctor. just because he gets hurt doesn't mean he's a bad player. lets soo you go out on the ice and try to do what he does.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 08 Feb 2009 19:29:32 GMT
I love all this talk about getting rid of Connolly. Why would we get rid one of our best players? So what he missed alot of games due to shit that is not his fault. We already lost Drury and Briere, I do not want to loose Tim. If you want to shake things up and trade players, trade the players who do play ALL the games and still DON'T produce, like Hecth, Kotalik and for god's sake Afinogenov. I seriuosly hope we don't trade our most skilled player and throw him an offer at the end of the year. I mean do not make the offer too generous because of obvious reasons but at least try to keep him here in Buffalo. He trully is a difference maker.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 07 Feb 2009 18:13:01 GMT
Are you insane? Yea he's had real bad luck with injuries, most of his time missed was due to his concussion problems. But who was our best player in the 05-06 cup run? Who singlehandedly saved that game one overtime win in Ottowa that could have crippled the teams morale. The guy had to have hip surgery and he had a broken rib after getting crushed. That being said, name 5 players in the NHL, that the sabres would actually pull the trigger on getting, that match his skill set. Name 1. No matter the circumstance, you don't trade or give away that talent and production, especially since we've already stuck with him through his post concussion syndrome. Why drop him now with the money invested? I would absolutely agree if he was a supremely talented injury bug that didnt produce. But he does, and he makes the team 100 times better when hes out there in all three departments. I can only hope that he does what is right but is rarely done in the sports world, and does the right thing by the team that did right by him. I think he will, he is a hockey player, the most modest and down to earth atheletes in the world. And I hope he stays healthy and is a leader on our team for a long time. Glimpses of a young pat lafontaine?

I'd injure him in bed.... ;) looked for him on facebook but couldn't find. That was a disappointment. He's always been my favorite player since he's been on the sabres
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Tue, 20 Jan 2009 02:50:09 GMT
Maybe we should take bets and see if he can make it through the rest of the season without getting injured. I bet Teppo comes back in 2 games. Timmy would be out for 2 months with a fractured jaw.
