Gillies is the biggest joke in the NHL! He goes after a guy who doesn't know he is coming and elbows him in the head then you see that guy in pain after the hit and he has the balls to try and fight the guy. Then while the guy is on the ice he taunts him from the runway really? He is a joke to the game and needs to be taught the proper way to give a CLEAN check and how to be respectful to someone who is seriously injured! COMPLETE JOKE!!!

He definitely has a bad boy image on the ice. Off the ice, he is one of the sweetest, most gentle men I've ever met.  Sure he talks trash to other team while the clock is ticking but he's the first one to give his stick to a kid on his way out of the arena (even when he's on the road ... to the opponent's fan!) and always comes out to sign and chat after the game.  Trevor has a way of making each of his fans feel special.  Very friendly and funny guy, brings a lot of talent and energy to the sport.
