refs can be dumb at times lol. lightning scored with 1:40 left in ot but was disallowed cuz a player ran into quick they called goalie interference on it but the player was knocked into quick by a kings player. lightning should've won grrrrrrrrrr refs! lol ---Raul

I agree Raul.... we all thought the same thing.... now, that would of been a Winter Classic to remember... however, it should be fun... I wanted to get tickets, but $400 is too pricey for me... I am used to the $30 nose bleeds at the Gahden... I also agree on not falling too far behind... the east is tight.... our players need to get off the IR and return.. Just read a few things on Ovie... ( on ESPN) that he will lace up, but, may be a scratch.... we will all find out in a few hours.... wish I could see the game..... I only have access to Versus and NESN.... however, the Pens and Bruins game will be good hockey tonight.... hours away till the puck drops... hope everyone is having a great day.. go Caps, and go Bruins....

The Kings are REALLY inconsistant, they either play really well or really bad! The games are fun,, but lack the intensity Caps game do!

It's supposed to be on FSN west, they should last nights debacle of a game, so they should be showing it on tonite! Bad night for L.A. teams, Ducks and Lakers lost miserably too!

I wouldve loved to have met Anze, Ivanans is beginning to grow on me too! Hopefully there will be another function where I could meet them! Last year Frolov hosted a vodka party when Ovie was in town! Not sure if Ovie was at the actual event though! I am hoping Ovie does some kind of appearance when he plays down here, since I missed him in DC!

Hey Raul!

Not sure if I will be watching tonite, hubby is going to be watching the Fire v. Real Salt Lake MLS game...Yawn!! I am going to try to catch the Caps v. Devils game online.

Last night's kings game was a disaster!!!!! I am probably going the Kings v Flyers game on Weds and for sure to the Flames v. Kings next Sat. I am going to miss their STH player meet and greet because I have to work! Ugh!!!!!

My concern is that he will be a target because of his injury, it sucks that he was out for two weeks, but I would hate for him to aggravate the injury and be out for a longer period of time. Hope for the best I suppose, he's a big, strong, man, he can take care of himself, I suppose!

I picked up a magazine when I was in DC that had an interview with him, says he likes to eat at "Chop Sticks" in Georgetown and "The Russia House" downtown. He said he his favorite bar is his basement where he has an ample supply of beer, wine and vodka. Party at Ovie's!!!! My husband's friend lives in Ovie's neighborhood and says he sees him all the time at bars down there also.

Hey Raul! Yes it did, but they were from really far away and I lost my camera at LAX! Ugh! Luckily the hubby took lots of pics, so I dont lose that many trip pics.

DC loves Ovie! It was really nice to be around people who know who he is for a change! Hey guys I am back from Dc, exhausted and jet lagged, but had a great time.

I got to see Ovie sit in the press box! He was wearing a pink shirt and silver pants. He looked bored as hell and kept taking sips of soda! He filled out his pants well, let me tell ya! Binoculars do come in handy! Even though he wasnt there, the game was a blast! They won 7-4, loved it!

People in DC had only nice things to say about him. My husband's friend is a chef in DC and lives in Ovie's neighborhood. He say's he sees him around all the local bars and that he really is very nice and down to earth. I chatted with the couple next to me and told them that my husband thought it was odd that I found Ovie attractive and they both said "What's not to love?"...lol All the Caps fans were really cool, it was an awesome experience!

nice interview there! 4-5 weeks without ovie be like an eternity for the caps, i'm sure they'll pick up the slack of ovie's scoring though. this could easily determine what seed caps will be in playoffs though cuz east is gunna be tight, little room for error. ---Raul

Injured Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin (notes) was watching Saturday's game against the Florida Panthers with Mike Green (notes) (also injured) in one of the rooms of the Verizon Center the press box.

He later met with some young fans outside of the locker room to sign some autographs. That's when I got the chance to ask him a few questions about his "upper body injury" and his journey back from it.

Keep in mind Ovechkin didn't indicate if the following "diagnosis" was from team doctors or his own evaluation.

Q. You're in good mood. Are you getting better?

OVECHKIN: I am better. But I will miss 4-5 weeks.

When I was 17, well there was no internet yet, but if there was, i am sure I'd be on message forums sometimes like I am now, but on athletes that I like . But at 17 I had lots of things to do places to go, friends, boyfrinds, that I wouldn't probably have much tiime anyway for it. Sad that you don't have more to do than this Bailey!!!

And if your boyfriend is really a NHL player don't you think he would think what you are doing is very immature??? And you said no date last night with him, because he was playing in a game.
