yesterday he was passing even when he had the best chance at a goal if he just took the shot himself. people are just going to criticize him no matter what he does. oh and i met him and he's the sweetest, most sincere guy out there. very cute too! |

He is cocky. He brags and shows off when he scores, and everyone knows it. He doesn't even pass the puck! Honestly, the only way for Alex Ovechkin to get an assist is if one of his teammates mauls him for the puck. He over celebrates too. In conclusion, all he does is shoot and he is cocky and can't play defense and doesn't pass. |

Alexander Ovechkin led the league with 528 shots last season, which was a little over 150 ahead of Eric Staal with 372. If any of the elite players like Iginla, Heatley, or Nash were to take that many shots they would get just as many if not more points/goals that Ovechkin, he is a selfish player who rarely plays defence other than his 3-4 highlight hits a year. |

Ovechkin is a great player and a great athlete but people just dont like the way he acts Ovechkin Gets way more credit that what he deserves. In every game he gets credit for every goal even when he isnt on the ice. In the playoffs last year he wasnt even on the ice when Steckle scored and when steckle scored the cameria went to ovechkin sitting on the bench and the announcers started talking about ovechkin. What about steckle? Oh no one cares. they only care about Ovechkin. the caps SUCK without him and everyone knows it. and Cry Baby Crosby only crys about how easy it is to win the stanley cup and beat your teams. |
