Canucks Match Offer Sheet For Recently Acquired Steve Bernier

The St. Louis Blues didn’t get their revenge but they may have forced Vancouver Canucks general manager Mike Gillis to pay a little more than he wanted to get forward Steve Bernier. The Canucks signed Bernier to a $2.5-million, one-year contract Tuesday. That came after Bernier, a restricted free agent who the Canucks acquired in a trade Friday, signed an offer sheet with the Blues. Smart move Hordi, telling Nashville where to go. I hope you get your big chance with another team, whether it be the Bluejackets or not. I am so sick of the way Nashville treats 4th line players, as if they are nothing, giving them 3 to 5 minutes a game. Then blaming the player that they can't do anything. I wish a few more players would tell them where to get off. I'm not a big fan of yours, but maybe I'll start. Thumbs up Hordi, give 'em hell. But fighting is not your game, just play hockey, you are no Tootoo, and he needs to learn that fighting is not his game either, if he wants to get anywhere, and so do you.

Sorry Darcy not much of a fan. Can't find one redeeming quality about your play. Don't see you staying in the NHL long. Hope you prove me wrong though. Everybody deserves a chance, and maybe you haven't had yours yet.
