I miss Dustin so much and I would much rather have him here in Chicago. The Hawks made a mistake trading him and I cannot and will not ever accept this trade. But if he is happy with his new team, then I'm happy.

I hope it isn't so, but there's a chance that the Hawks got rid of a lot of the wrong players (Buff and Ladd) while keeping others they could have traded. It would be a nightmare if both the Hawks and Thrashers perform poorly this season, but it could conceiveably happen.

Big Buff will be missed. I wish we could get all the Atlanta Games. The Hawks will go nowhere this year and wait til the Thrashers play the Blackhawks. I will be a Big Buff fan forever.

Well to weigh in on a few things here. First off I would like to say that Adam Bisges is a supreme being and his gine rifing is similar to that of construction grade jack hammer. Bisges ruins chicks and makes them wear diapers for the rest of their lives. I also played in the ECHL with Dust. He is one hell of a hockey player, and yes he does crush gine while listening to soulja boy "All the Way Turned Up". That song turns dust into a hot to trott stallion and the next thing you know ur hearing squeals similar to that of an injured rabbit. Unreal right?? I know tell me about it we were roomies and god am i glad i always have a set of ear plugz on me. I was actually in a local Chicago bar over the weekend at the hangout on Dust was there. We caught up over a few drinks and the next thing i know Dust is dropping a deuce on the floor in the bathroom. Haha dude just never seems to find the net whether while pooping and missing the toilet, or out on the ice. All in all though i wish my buddy Dust good luck in ATL, and ill never forget wobbly' H'ing his sister with our other ice cat teammate Barf while Buff was passed out no more then 3ft from us...Signing out ur old team mate and local gine hazer -CALF-

i played with buff for a few months a few years back when we were toiling with the el paso ice cats of the ECHL - i was an enforcer, local fans referred to us as the bash bros, just like fulton reed and dean portman. back to buff tho - dude was absolutely unreal. we roomed together on roadtrips, and i will be perfectly honest, i have never heard or seen a guy crush gine with the raw power that byfuglien used. my god. absolute rifeage. dude punched his timecard, clocked in, and straight did work on the reg.

I am really going to miss you Buff. You are one of my favorites. I will also miss Eager and Sopel and now Versteeg. I am a new Hockey fan and so excited about the Hawks and the Stanley Cup. I will certainly be watching and listening again next season and checking up with the Thrashers just to see you play. when you were traded I felt like I got cross checked by the powers that took you away.

I got the pleasure of golfing with Buff this weekend in Minn. at a charity tourney... not only this guy a great hockey player but he can CRUSH the ball too. He is also a very down to earth, humble and really GREAT guy. Thanks for the fun round of golf Buff and wish you best of luck in Atlanta. BAL

My friend rode on Bus 3 with Buff during the parade and said he was completely wasted to the point his gf tried to cut him off. He told her to f off, grabbed the megaphone and yelled to some girls to show him their ... Class act. Good player, but glad the Hawks got the cap down by trading him.
