Halak is beginning to lose momentum in St Louis too. Last night against the Red Wings, 3-3 tie in the 3rd with 10 min left in regulation. The wings shoved 4 goals up Halak's ass in like 3 minutes. WTF? That's 5 losses in a row now now.

Halak will never EVER win a vezina. The vezina goes to the best goalie in the league. Halak is not the best in the league. He will never be he just doesn't have the potential. Also he ran out of gas at a crucial point in the playoffs. He may have played well against the top teams but then he gave the Flyers a bunch of open nets trying to look good. He's a capable starter but not a vezina winner.

If I had an opportunity to have coffee or hot chocolate (his favourite) with Jaroslav, I'd tell him that I am very happy that he was offered a four-year contract with the Blues, he's earned it, and that all that he needs to do is continue to work hard and maybe gear his training toward being harder to knock over, i.e. muscle up all over, so that he can stand heavier in goal. He's a competitor and could very well carry his new team to the playoffs, the same as he did for our team, earlier this year. Good luck Jaro, and even though we have to be loyal to our team and regroup around Carey, so that his confidence will be at its best, we won't forget you because you are a kind person and a great competitor. Thank you for an unexpectedly great spring in playoffs, it was captivating and made us happier. : )

dear suzanne, I am very much inspired by your love for Halak, however, I am a Price fan and am happy to hear this, though you probably will not be . The Canadiens are planning to deal Mr. Jaroslav to Dallas and in exchange, get a lot of useful players. And to fill the back up spot will be Turco. I know this because Price will most likely ask for $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 dollars. While Halak will go for 5-6 million dollars. The Habs salary cap does not accept that, and Jaro goes, and Price stays and wins cups. AND DO NOT NOT BELIEVE ME JUST BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO IS WRITING THIS IS TWELVE, I HAVE STRAIGHT "A 's"
