agree 100% but no GM would asume this guys contract, he is paid to be an elite goal scorer and has not showed it in the playoffs.

Did you hear about the hossa story? this is what happened. Hossa went to the Pittsburgh Penguins and they went all the way to the stanley cup facing the detroit red wings and they lost it. then he was with the Detroit Red Wings and they went all the way to the stanley cup facing the pittsburgh penguins, and he still lost it. finally, he was with the Blackhawks and he finally won the Stanley cup.

Congrats Hossa, finally a cup and a ring on your finger! Very happy and proud moment, 49 years is a long time.

And Hossa did a hell of a job in the playoffs this year for the Hawks, I am happy he is on our team and his contributions we're great

you can't blame him for wanting to win a stanley cup THAT badly. Sometimes you gotta do what's best for your career. He's getting old and wants to win and I believe he ultimately picked the right team to do that. 12 years in Chicago baby and we're happy he's here :)

He loved Detroit so much (he said so when he left Pittsburgh) that he left after just one year, even though they were willing to sign him longterm at over 4M per year (more than Zetterburg). He did the same thing in Pittsburgh a year earlier.............they offered him 5 years @35M.............he came back and asked for seven years and he was offered 42M. Instead, he bolted for Detroit.

Wake up Chicago fans. He is nothing but an "all about me player" who shows no loyalty to ANYONE but himself.

I believe that Karma will reveal itself for a third straight year. I wonder how nuch Chicago fans will love Hossa then!?!
