Max,
    As strange as it sounds, you kind of disrespected Pittsburgh when you signed with Philly. We know that you wanted a long term contract with pens and ray shero wasn't with that. When they offered you that 800,000 3yr contract deal, i would of spit in their faces because your worth more than that, and with out you, they would not be wearing that ring on their finger. But when you signed with the flyers, it was a slap in the faces to all pens fans out there. Sure you got what you wanted a 'long term deal', but being a late penguins player, you know that you are to HATE Detroit, Washington, and most importantly Philadelphia. Now that your apart of the team you hated so much, it sucks that hell. i hope you don't get the "superstar" treatment in Philly like you did in the burgh.


P.S  I'm pretty pissed by the fact that i wasted a good bit of money for your winter classic jersey. What a joke.

hahaha maybe homlgren saw max at the 24/7 hbo and he went and try to get him because they are in 24/7 HBO next season with the winter classic.. joke... Seriously! I am happy for him, coz he is happy in chosing flyers....

When I meet Max at training camp Sept.27th 2010 it was I day I will never forget because I met my hero and a very special not to mention a fun loving young man.I got to tell Max that he was my favorite player and how happy that made him feel and what a great smile he gave me, I'll never forget it.I made Max  memory book with alot of his pictures in it and how pleased and surprised when I told Max it was for him. Of course, Max thanked me for the book and for all my love and support for his career.Max will always have a very special place in my heart forever.              Jamie Dawn Chrobak   I love you Max!         #25

i met max last week at practice in southpointe, im such a big fan of his! hes such a sweet guy! He met my parents and called me from sean casey's charity event to wish me a happy birthday, he personalized the fight strap of his jersey for a bday gift that said to thais love max, and when i was at practice he remembered me just from the phone call! when i saw him for the 1st time in person, he looked right at me, and he had a huge smile on his face.. at the end of practice i wrote him a note and put it on the glass saying who i was and that i was who he called, and he lit up, and he said that he remembered me! we talked for a few minutes (through the glass) even though they were leaving to depart for NY....  the coolest thing was when i made a hand-heart, he knew instantly what i meant and started laughing, got me a puck ad threw it to me after signing the jersey that i wear weekly of his... i absolutely love him and he has made my 14th year an awesome one! i cant wait to see him again!

Max seems like a great funny cute guy,number 25 in my hometown Pittsburgh and Jordan staal number 11, great goof balls. I am defaintly a number 1 fan for both. What a dream it is to met you both. Great job penguins make us proud in the town of winners. C.Cortazzo 13. Pittsburgh PA

what's this potential you speak about? max talbot has been called countless times "the hardest working guy on the ice." this is extremely accurate. if you watch a pens game, he works the boards and does his job shift after shift. he had an UNREAL playoff run last year. 2 goals in game 7 of the SCF last year. i don't see how that's not living up to his potential. he is not put on the ice to be a Sidney Crosby, but he steps up when he's called upon. he is a key guy in the lineup, and he lives up to his expectations.
