Looks like the high life caught up to him in the end. If you don't take things seriously and stay in top shape all year, then by the end you won't have anything left. It looks like that's what happened to him. Too bad, hopefully he learned his lesson and will do better next year. |

i don't know if i'd cut him, but they certainly should have benched him more than they did... i know he was hurt, but if you're that hurt that you can't play, take a seat and let someone else help the team... |

he couldn't be a bigger playoff disappointment. The one guys right the job of the defense it to set up the forwards SECOND after playing, you guessed it, defense. Mike Green wants to be a goal scorer not a d man, but manages not to do either. Cut him |

I saw the best Mike Green shirts on e bay. They are the GAME OVER shirts that are from way back in his Hershey days when he was Mr Game Winner.,with GREEN MACHINE and his number on the front. I saw them on e bay ! Something like "GAME OVER " Mike Green T's is on the listing.Mike is having a great year !!!!! GO CAPS !!!!!! |

actually caps fans do know the fundamentals of hockey, because lets see, these are thousands of us and i would like to think that a thousand people wouldnt be sitting around watching the capitals for the sole fact that the players are attractive. I guess that means the 80 year old men who have been caps fans for years are hot for mike green as well. Im a girl and i know what hockey is about and actually i do know what a trip and a hook is. Now tell me why someone who is so proud of themselves and using the term "sliced bread" on a board for someone they dont give a damn about. SOIYAAA.. its ok to be jealous of caps fans :) |

This might be a surprize to you, but d's job is to set up the foward and to make it easier for them to score... with mike out Cps were in some big trouble, you can tell by the way they lost so many games. So there Green is not only hot, he is an amazing hockey player!!!! And everyone in NHL admits that Mike is the best d right now!!! You might wanna watch some hockey channels!! So I doubt you are smarter then a 100s of people who have played themselves or have been hockey maniacs for douzens of years. |
