Some other favorite forwards.....Pavel Datsyuk, Patrice Bergeron & Martin St Louis.

I don't like him because he wants to be able to hit people, but, he cries like baby when he gets hit back..I also don't like that he didn't seem to care about players getting concussions and such until it happened to him..then all of a sudden its a big deal to him... I saw that hit too! Loved it!

So why do you not like Crosby?...he has some serious skills......I don't like him either.....curious about your reasons......how about the hit he got from Giroux in game 6.......it's one of my favorite plays of the year!!!
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Sun, 27 May 2012 02:33:37 GMT reply
I do not like Crosby...at all..Giroux is extremely talented it will be great watching him continue to grow as a player..lol, we Bruins fans tend to get a lot of grief as well, so I get what you mean there..

Thanks. It's refreshing not to be hated.....get nothing but hate from Pens & NYR fans. Speaking of....what do you think of Giroux? Crosby?
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Sun, 27 May 2012 00:18:43 GMT reply
Haha! I wasn't even going to say anything. I don't hate the Flyers..except when they play against us...I was glad to see them take out the pesky Pens! Too bad they couldn't keep going. Oh well, we all just have to wait until next season. I still am hoping the Devils win it..only because I have seen more of them and I also like Martin and Zack..I don't have that bond with LA.

I'm going with the Kings...Flyers West......yes, I'm a Flyers fan.......you can stop laughing or thinking of a witty, sarcastic comeback....I've heard them all!! I actually am a fan of the sport period. Anyway, I would like to see LA win for the team not the town. Though the Devils will be really tough to beat!

Well, given how this season has gone, its hard to make any real predictions. I am just hoping New Jersey can pull it off. I don't care for LA.

So who are you picking to win the Cup?
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Thu, 24 May 2012 14:00:31 GMT reply
I think they should, but, it sounds doubtful with Kelly and Campbell, hopefully they can come to an agreement with him. They shouldn't mess with the team too much, but, that depends on how soon Horton can return. We get him back, and, given some time and no further head injuries, we will be all good again. I reallllllly hope he is back soon. We have missed him in many ways.

Do you think the Bruins will resign Campbell & Kelly?
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Wed, 23 May 2012 00:18:28 GMT reply
That's because its innovative..its original..and it works for them.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 23 May 2012 00:12:24 GMT reply
I actually like quirky.....it makes them more fun to watch!!
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 23:51:43 GMT reply
I don't care if a player is quirky..whatever works...I love how Roy totally covered his net..he earned his nickname..
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 23:26:05 GMT reply
Ever.....Roy was phenomenal!!...a little quirky but usually exceptional players are!!
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 22:39:11 GMT reply
I meant to include Martin..the others, not quite my faves..Crawford was kind of disappointing in the playoffs..Luango, been very inconsistent as of late..he blew the playoffs against us and was not up to par this year either..Quick I need to see more of..same with Smith although I like that he keeps Phoenix going...Holtby, I think he got a bit lucky against us...but, who knows with him? He is a rookie, we will see where he goes..haha, Thomas does make people, myself included, nervous with his unconventional style of playing..but, it usually work for him..
Anonymous (Legend) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 22:17:58 GMT reply
No Brodeur, Smith, Crawford, Luongo or Quick?  How about the up and coming Braden Holtby?  Even Timmy was impressed by Holtby!  I'm partial to Lundqvist.  I like Thomas but I get agita watching him make somersault, inverted pike, spread eagle saves. lol
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 21:54:57 GMT reply
Ever, I would go with Patrick Roy or Dominik Hasek..currently, I can't pick my absolute fave, so I will name the ones I currently think highly of..Thomas, Rask,Lundqvist, Osgood, and Neimi.
Anonymous (Legend) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 21:44:38 GMT reply
Both.

A lot of players are hot and cold..some of my favorites are..favorite goalie, currently or ever?
Anonymous (Legend) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 21:22:57 GMT reply
Agreed. Love Max as well, he great on PK. Malkin has some serious skills but he's hot and cold......the Flyers were able to shut him down after a phenomenal season and then he played great again at Worlds....I don't like his hits either. Dustin Brown has stepped up his game after a mediocre season........you could say that about most of the Kings except Quick. Speaking of goalies, do I dare ask who your fav is?!!
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 20:15:10 GMT reply
I agree they have had a positive impact on him, but, he still interferes with goaltenders more than I like players to..Dustin Brown, I haven't seen enough of him to make judgement, but, apparently, in this years playoffs at least, he is definitely finding his game..they can't seem to shut him down...Talbot, great goal scorer and skater, it wouldn't hurt to see him play more physical, but, I like him...Malkin, another dangerous player, he can skate, score, and has a great physical presence..he needs to watch some of his hits, but, that can be said about a lot of players..no real complaints about him..great Russian player....Krejci, I like him, but, he needs to step his game up...when he gets going, its great, but, I haven't seen that lately..that problem needs to be solved..

A couple of years ago I would have agreed with you about Hartnell.  He doesn't have the size Lucic has but he has improved his game. I know he's not Timmy T's best friend but he's interfereing less with goalies unless he's pushed.  I think Jagr and Giroux have had a positive impact on him.  He sucks at skating which is why he's off his skates more than on them.

What do you think about Dustin Brown? Max Talbot? Evgeni Malkin? David Krejci?

Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 22 May 2012 03:21:33 GMT reply
Lol, of course I am a Bruins fan!!! Haha! That is a funny commercial. I wish they would use more of our players for those commercials.

Also at that point, it was too late. If you are going to do something to get your team going, do it at least by the beginning of the 3rd period, especially when you are down 3 nothing and don't interfere/hit the goaltender.
