Emery took Ottawa Sens & Anaheim Ducks to the playoffs. He's had the top 5 highest GAA & save percentage in the league on numerous occasions. He had a hip disease that destroyed Bo Jackson's career & even Jackson praised Emery for his perseverance to overcome what science deemed impossible & fight the disease. He was never supposed to walk again, let alone skate, or even play in the NHL. Don't judge Emery on his quick rise to fame & money at the age of 23. He's 29 years old now, has been through hell & back & was nominated for a Masterson Trophy for his hard work getting back into the league. Watch any video of his recovery on youtube and you will be amazed. He had a rough game with the Oilers, but the game before that was terrific. Even Corey Crawford got pulled from the Oilers game, who is the starter. Defense got into a lot of trouble within the media as all goals they were either in the way or doing nothing.

emery had a great career ahead of him because if he kept his mouth shut and played his game in 07-08 the sens wouldv'e been back in the finals winning but in russia i hope they kick his ass right into shape so he doesn't make those mistakes again and seriously i dont what bryan murray is doing he has money and david aebischer is free ,khabibulin is a rumor but out of all that they have alex auld and they have gerber they are both backups that need help in keeping goals out gerber is solid but only for a certain amount of time in reg. season and if you put him in the playoffs he'll mess up.

I don't know what rhumors people will start next about Ray Emery, but I think he is the absolute best! Now he will show off the Russian team for which he plays with, and come back to the NHL to be the best Goalie ever and beat Ottawa to win the Cup! And everyone will be mad a the GM for getting rid of him and they will all act as if they had always loved Ray Emery! But if, for a reason, he doesn't succeed in hockey, I am sure he will succeed in every thing and anything else he tries!! Good Luck Ray! We will miss you, 'til you come back!!! BYE FOR NOW!

the best move ottawa done this year was before July 1st, they finally got rid of that cancer, loved the bluff is agent was throwing out before july first that teams were just waiting to sign him,..lol...what a joker he was, he definitly don't belong in that league, good thing for him he had a team to make him look much better than he is,.....he is the same calibur of patrick lalime , we all know how many playoff games we lost because of that guy,...and probably a cup or two,

Ray Emery, where do I start. This kid had the world by the tail and he still couldn't be a responsible adult. He proved to be a team cancer and wasted an entire season for his teamates, got his coach fired, not to mention the thousands of disappointed fans. What a disgrace to hockey this good for nothing waste of talent. I just think it's sad that even he has a fan site. Whats wrong with you idiots?
