Not only does he suck... he isnt even enjoyable to watch... he flops around the net trying to recover, and is always out of position. ( pretty much behind the goal line) . His equipment looks like its just hanging off him. Gustovsan, however, is a strong goaltender, and is rarely out of position. Send Tosky down to the Marlies :) |

Don't be afraid to come out of your net idiot! This guy sucks bag. He does not deserve to be in the NHL. Any time he is lucky enough to get the leafs to a shootout we all know the ultimate ending. A sock hanging from the crossbar would have a better save percentage. As long as Vesa's in a Leafs uniform I am no longer a fan!!!!! |

toskala is not a good starting goalie. makes the routine stops but can't make the big save for his life. how is this any different than andrew raycroft, at least he is the alltime leaf leader in wins. if someone is gonna suck might as well throw raycroft 500k to do it instead of toskala for 4 MILLION |

toskala=top 5 pick for the Boston Bruins. I don't understand how goalies that come to the Leafs can suck as bad as they do. Maybe the nets should be made smaller at the ACC to give us a chance with all the sives we see to get. Thanks Fergie all those 1st round picks for toskala and raycroft. Fergie the chimp that picks playoff winners could do a better job then you did. |

leafs certainly don't have a problem scoring goals, this guy is the worst goalie, remember the one hundred and eighty somewhat ft goal last yr. And how many shootouts has this guy won?, I think one. John Ferguson Jr really picked a winner, and just think leaf fans have to pay to watch, he should be in the NHL. |

Toskala just doesn't have quick enough reactions. He can't compare to the rest of the goalies- hence worse record in the league. Maybe if the Leafs had a better goalie and could keep their steam, they'd have have a chance. |
