steven moffat is a great writer when he has somebody to keep him in check. with series 1-4, that was russel t davies, and with sherlock, mark gatiss. as head writer, moffat can do as he pleases with no consequences whatsoever, and thus creates the garbage we have had for the last 2 years

I believe most of the posters on the various BBs are shills because all of the praising posts and all of the slams at David Tennant all have virtually identical language.

I think it's telling that after two years there are less than 2,000 fanfics written about 11 posted on Teaspoon, compared to nearly 20,000 fics about 10 and about 9,000 about 9.  If 11 was really that popular, where are the fics?

Otherwise it's impossible that they would be praising such terrible actor like Smith, without a doubt the WORST DOCTOR WHO EVER! I endured not more than 4 episodes of 11th Doctor's incarnation. Stupidity? Check! Goofiness? Check! Dumb plot? Check! Bad acting? Double check! Cheesiness? Check again!

To say Moffat's tenure as head writer of the series dumbed it down would be a compliment.  This guy had the strangest methamorphosis that happened to a living person: from brilliant writer (author of Silence in Library, Blink) into a mindless scribbler with a brain of 5 year old kid,

It's a truly amazing thing that people here are so dumb and ignorant. It's like they're color blind. Of new incarnations, Eccleston was best, Tennant was goofy at times but at least could ACT. I hope some carrier breaking accident will happen to Smith or Moffat. Or to both. And they won't reincarnate. Unfortunately for true Dr Who fans, quite a lot of single dumb girls in their teens have some strange crush of this David Tennant's copycat whos name is Matt Smith.
