This somewhat desperate-looking project pairs the aging Clint Eastwood (he also directed) with a younger actor (Charlie Sheen) who was hot at the time this film was made (1990). There's certainly nothing wrong with that strategy, but it would have helped if Eastwood had a decent story to wrap around his commercial strategy. The senior star plays a grizzled cop with a smooth-faced preppie (Sheen) as a new partner. Their odd-couple shtick is as predictable as one would expect, with each man approaching the same job with a wholly different set of convictions from the other. Inexplicably, Eastwood also hired Raul Julia and Sonia Braga to plays Germans, but then the scene most people remember in this movie is Braga's rape of Eastwood--indeed an unusual moment. --Tom Keogh

Tony Schumacher cheats on his wife every opportunity he gets. I know firsthand, but when it happened I didn't realize he was such a pig. Anyone else out there ever hook up with him? Drop me a line and let's exchange stories ~ can't believe his wife still stands by his side. How embarrassed and humiliated must she be going to the races with him? I'm sure she looks at all his ogling female fans and has to wonder how many of them her husband has stuck his tiny little weiner into! lol. If you've hooked up with him you know what I mean!!

Tony is an arrogant spoiled brat. Without his father he could not make it on his own. Family man, what a joke, He cheats on his wife---which is a know fact. At Englishtown after Scott died all he cared about was whoring around.

I've been around drag racing all of my life and have met most ALL of the racers. Tony is an arrogant spoliled brat and isn't near the same driver as Joe Amato, Eddie Hill (the BEST in my opinion) and certainly not even close to "Big Daddy"  He's not squat without Mr. Johnson! Congrats Alan!!

Tony is a cheater and it's obvious.  He sucked in qualifying at Indy while Cory Mac didn't.  With all that was on the line (records) for Tony, they set Cory up to fail in the semi finals. Cory ran good all weekend long but all of a sudden he fouls out and smokes the tires.....come on. Give me a break.

Tony isn't squat without Alan Johnson. Tony should be kissing his father"s butt everyday for being able to afford Alan. Quarantee... Schumacher will fall flat on his face next year without Alan. Doesn't matter who becomes the new crew chief.

I went to my 1st drag race on Sunday 6-8 at Joilet and just have to say that watching it on TV wasn't anything special and really didn't understand much about wat all the hipe was about until I got there. It blew me away with the awesome power and now I am 4ever a fan and will go whenever I can and it will be a whole new experience now even watching it on TV. Thanks for the thrill of a lifetime!!!! Hope to meet you in person someday!!!!

Hello, my name is Linda Schmitz. I am a proud fan of Don Schumacher racing. I think it is really pathetic what NHRA is doing with Don and the fuel. It's NOT the fuel it's DON Their after. I wish someone would take the BIG BOYS out behind the shed and teach them some manners. Don has devoted years and years to help and promote NHRA. I don't think the man and his team have to cheat. I will NEVER buy anything with NHRA on it NEVER again! I am going to tell all my friends the same! They are the "pork barrel boys" as one man put it Pork barrels!!!!!!!
