A lot of that story is bullshit. Justin says he split from playing with Tyler by his own decision. NOT SO. He QUIT St Mikes the year Ty was so big in Belleville, and was seen during his sit-out at Belleville games, and rumours were everywhere that St Mikes were trying to trade him to Belleville because he said he wanted to play there with Ty. Did'nt work out and he ended up in Sudbury. He tried out for Tri City in the A and just plain didnt make it. Saw Ty playing (poorly I might add) in Bingo and couldnt handle the fact that all he could come up with was a deal in the E with the Wranglers. When Ty QUIT last season in Elmira he said he was going to play with Justin in UPEI, but couldnt get into the school by then. They were FIRED from the team in Switzerland becuase of bad attitude or they would still be there. That story is REALLY bent one way!! |

That is a great story on NHL.com. If, and it is a big IF, these guys can keep up the intensity, and NOT quit again they may have a shot at the A. I don't think either one of them have the game to make the show, but there are a lot of guys who make a great living in the AHL. Just have to wait and see. |

too bad about all the quitting in the past, they probably would have been called to the "A" by now. Instead Svendson got the call he only has 4 points in 5 games.... |

Justin and Tyler will star in the ECHL. It might not be exactly where they wanted to end up, but they are going to enjoy themselves, and just maybe leave their mark on that league. |

Third star of the game in the home opener. 2 assists including a nice display if speed down the wing and a PERFECT set up for a goal. These guys may not have size, but both have soft hands and Justin has some awesome foot speed. |

I see both boys made a nice debut last night in the E. Justin 1 and 1, Tyler 2 and 1. See if they can keep it up, which shouldnt be a problem. The problem will be getting an entire season under their belts with just one team instead of quitting on their teammates. |

You know, when Justin was in the O with that short stint with Sudbury (after he bailed on St Mikes) he played with Nick Foligno. Nick could'nt carry Justins' hgockey bag, not even close. So you have to ask why Foligno is in his second year as a regular with Ottawa playing 15 - 17 minutes a game. The answer is'nt in the speed, the hands, the ability to see the ice....it is in the heart!! Nick wants it, Justin (and Tyler for that matter) could'nt reach down and get what they needed to make it. They thought they had it coming to them. Egos out of control. These guys both have all the ability in the world, they both need an attitude adjustment to get rid of the "entitlement" mindset, and a heart transplant. |

You're kidding! Tyler quit that team last season, and he was leading the league at the time in scoring. The team needed him. Martinson (coach) was publicly pissed at the time. No way they are signed, they must be on tryouts, and I have no idea why the Jaks would drink that Kool aid a second time around. |

These guys have shredded themselves in the hockey world! Who thinks they could get paid to play anywhere now? They should get day jobs and play some rec hockey, end of story. Otherwise some day they'll be 30 with no skills, no education (Justin quit University) and nothing going for them except OHL careers 14 years ago. What a sad, sad story........ |

The guy who predicted they would quit gets the prize!! Fired, quit, whatever you want to call it, they let their teammates down. The local papers in Thurgau had an article in the last couple of weeks where they quoted the coach at HCTG as saying they did not want to adapt to Swiss life, did not spend time with teammates or try to get to know them, and arrived at camp out of shape!! That is bad. Well, Ty for one can spend a lot more time smoking now, what does it matter if you smoke in beer league? Embarassing for sure. |

The HC Thurgau has fired the Donati-Twins after 3 games. None of them scored, and they didn't seem to be very popular inside the team. |

during the lockout guys were playing anywhere they could. Marc Savrd put in a few games to stay busy. Elite League is a different story, in Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland too. B league a whole different story..it is for guys on the way down after an elite league career, or guys that just cant cut it anywhere competitive, like the A or the E, where BOTH Donatis washed out and quit. So yes....Switzerland, B League...BOTTOM OF THE HOCKEY BARREL!! Those 2 should be embarassed, but I dont think they are bright enough to be LOL |

Marc savard played 13 games for Thurgau in the lockout season. Funny how he did not stay when the lockout ended. Swiss B league is quite low. Check out hockey DB, most players are swiss born out of their junior programs or ECHL or guys who may have got a couple of games in the AHL. The swiss A league on the other hand is a much higher caliber. |
