The Jackals winning streak is their longest since joining the ECHL, now at nine games dating back to the end of the 2008-2009 regular season. The current sell-out streak is also the longest for the Jackals since joining the ECHL

That "chick" knows an awful lot about hockey!! I think Tyler is gonna have a great minor league career. Thing is, you can't retire off a career in the E, he coul'nt cut it in the A....but both these boys are chasing the dream like any kid who starred in local hockey. Don't knock them. And if they pursue careers outside of hockey in the off-season at least they will have a foothold when they are done.

These guys will burn it up in that league. If only their egos will allow them to just stay in one place for the season. The problem will come if they get called up. They just can't take the size of the opposition, and the traffic. They get pushed off the puck and run shy when the copntact starts. This will be a great story for the E as a league and the twins though. Twin brothers in top 10 scoring....some good pr value.

Tyler Donati now has nine points on the season, overtaking Alaska's John Lammers for first in the ECHL in scoring, and broke a multi-way tie among ECHL assists leaders to lead the league with eight. Justin Donati overtook Lammers as well, and is second in the ECHL in scoring with eight points (3-5). Great Job Guys! ;)

That league is pretty good hockey. Kind of like a ramped up OHL. BUT you sure can't make a living there. You have to hang your hat on the fact that you MIGHT get a call to the A. Most don't. Tyler originally sigbned in the A (binghamton) out of Belleville, and couldt take the traffic and the size of the players. He got called up last season on the strength of that fast start in Elmira, played 5 games, played poorly, got sent down and then quit the Jaks. Not sure why these guys are hanging on, but if they are happy making McD money so be it. They will do well in this league, they just won't make a living.
