This kid is total class act and hardest working kid I've ever seen. Always has time to play shinny with the little tykes, really treats the little kids well. Whoever drafts this kid is drafting a solid player.

He heard my little sister plays, (my dad works with his aunt i think) and he sent her some signed 67's stuff. she's gonna send him one of her cards she signed. I've never seen her so happy, i thought it was really cool of him

I know first hand how much Shane Prince is loved in the Ottawa region and I'm hoping the sens can get their hands on him. Having said that I think the Buffalo Sabres with their new ownership are going to beat us to the punch. Prince is from the Buffalo area.

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Fri, 22 Apr 2011 10:42:58 GMT
Princey is fast becoming a legend in Ottawa. Wouldn't surprise me if Murray took him in the first round.
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Fri, 22 Apr 2011 08:47:00 GMT

Reply-to:I cannot help and wonder why this kid seemed to disappear after mid January and the CHL Top Prospect game. After that Prospec game, I think he only got two points for the rest of the season.

Prince was injured 2 or 3 times after the Top Prospects game but still managed 12 points in 15 games playing hurt. It didn't go un-noticed either as you will see in the upcoming NHL Draft. In fact his stock continued to rise due in part by his willingness to play injured. Kid is a phenomenal leader who will go very high in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft and will be wearing a letter for the 67's if he returns from the NHL.

The reason Princey took a big hit is because he's fearless, goes into areas at blazing speed like no other. Kid will be a bigtime NHL star and leader wherever he goes. What a great player he is to watch in Ottawa and a super lad off the ice.

Team trainer says Prince has only a mild concussion and will not miss playoffs!! YEAH!!!

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 12 Mar 2011 17:55:20 GMT

Shane Prince is out, and who knows for how long...Murderous hit by Billinglsey N.Ice Dogs..no need for such a hit..and i do think i saw an elbow up..google it all and see.

He was knocked unconcious and actually convulsed and went stiff..very scary moment...helmet came off before he hit the ice, flat on his back and head...definately stitches and more than likely concussed...and yes playoffs are coming up...damn!

Finally people are taking notice. This is funny for western NY people who have watched this kid for years, unbelieveable what this kid can do on the ice. I know he was chosen very late in the OHL draft but I'm pretty sure not many NHL teams will miss the boat this time around. Sabres fans keep your fingers crossed the Sabres are smart enough to take this kid in the first round, finally we can replace Danny Briere!!!! Are you listening Darcy??

This kid is on fire for the Ottawa 67's.  25 points in 15 games and one of the top five scorers in the OHL.  I remember going to Maksymum clinics with him when I was younger.  Prince always had a great attitude and work ethic.  Hope he can keep it up.  It would be great to see him drafted first round.

Hey Azzclown, ever wonder why 99% of the Canadian population lives right along the USA border? It's for protection from the rest of the world. Without the power of the USA, Canada would be wiped from the map in about.....Oh an hour or so.

Canada's entire existance is brought to you by the USA! get over it, without the USA Canada would be a parking lot for Camels, sort of like Brampton!

All you haters are trash wannabe's from Canada that aren't good enough to play past your tripple a teams. Shane is a good kid seeing as how I grew up with him in New York, where he is from, not that anyone of you losers would know. Why don't you kids go back to your terrible teams and keep pretending like your going to play somewhere that means something, because if you actually were anything good you wouldn't waste your time talking sh*t on random player blogs. ALSO for all you hating fans, honestly get back to working your minimum wage jobs.EH

I know it made me sick when he came back to the aud and kicked our butts with the 67's. We should have kept him as a Ranger. It was hard to cheer against him but he was cool after the game and signed a bunch of cards and ranger stuff my dad brought to their bus. he signed #18 though under his name. He is cool and awesome!!!!
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Sat, 20 Mar 2010 21:37:58 GMT

shance prince = useless for the 67's

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Fri, 19 Mar 2010 00:55:31 GMT

Haha i love how people will attack somone like Jeff Skinner for being an overated and a cocky player when actualy Shane Prince is one of the rudest most self centered people i have ever met. knowing shane personaly if anyone took the time to figure out what I know about him it would make you think twice about this egotistical dwarf. and to be blunt he is not even a good player, he is selfish and needs to learn how to use the things on his feet called skates. I'm so tired of hearing "shane is so nice , shane is so amazing" when NO ONE on here even knows him. you can say he's a "good player" if thats what you naively want to think , but you can never say someone you dont know is "an amazing person", and when you get to know him like i do he makes you physicaly sick
