How do you like Ovechkin? First off the guy looks like a monkey. Second he is such a stuck up freak. He brags and thinks he is better than all the hockey players, but he is not. Glad Ovi & the caps lost. Their outta there!

I am very disappointed with Ovechkin...my family visited D.C. from MN for my son's 10th birthday.  We attended the open practice at Kettler Iceplex to watch practice and to see Ovechkin (at my son's request because he's the hockey fan).  Ovechkin was there but did not suit up for practice...no big deal.  However, he came out to watch and completely ignored the kids waiting for him (all decked out in #8 jerseys and hats) even though the repeatedly called his name.  There was no way he could not hear them, but he pretended not to and gave no sign of acknowledgement.  There was a same group of fans waiting (including us) and only 3 kids that wanted autographs. Upon walking away, he looked at the kids, gave a very slight wave and left (keep in mind that he was only a few feet away from them).  Needless to say, the kids waiting were CRUSHED, including my son.  I never would have expected such poor behavior from such an icon.  It would have been better for the kids if they had not even seen him.

Crosby is way better than ovechkin. Ovefchkin is a little baby who never fights and is super cocky. Screw you ovechkin, go back to russia.

I compeletly agree... Ovechkin deserves to have his career ended. He almost ended about 5 (lucky for him he didn't). And overall, Crosby is a better player all-around.  Go Sid!!!

Ovechkin is a peasant and a bully. He doesn't have the skills, so he tries to eliminate anyone who does. He says it's part of the game.  It's not.  I hope several teams in the NHL paint a target on his back and dish back to him what he has been doing.

alex ovechkin proved AGAIN yesterday that he is a rare combination of a great goal scorer, and one of the greatest cheap shot artists in pro hockey today. and i can't wait for the day that someone ends his season, or career, with a great cheap shot on him that i can watch over and over again. i hope it happens the day he returns from his suspension for being a STRAIGHT UP THUG.
