padres never brought him up from AAA for a look in '08 when he was leading the team in hitting--padres had the 2nd worst record in NL 63-99--broke his heart...a former padres fan

I got this dude in Baseball Mogul. I moved him to SS and he's a BEAST. Now if I only knew how to pronounce his name...

Pete used to teach my son batting skills in Smithtown.  He is a wonderful person and very caring.  He took my son under his wing and motivated him to do his best not only on the playing field but as an individual.  He is truly an incredible person who left quite an impression on my son.   I was shocked to see a site such as this one.  I wish him only the best.

the fact that you can look through this entire forum and not find one bad thing about him tells you about his character.. padres need the role model.. I know my son looks up to him

Pete works hard all year round, including the off-season; he really showed how good he is this year in AAA ball.

He definitely deserves a September call-up to the Padres!!!
