Go figure... Gray was on track, while Tanaka and Sabathia were the ones that didn't have their better moments. But that aside, the Yankees do have a knack of doing well against good teams, yet inexplicably get beat by bad teams. As John Sterling would say, "You just can't predict baseball."

Big deal! He did it against a last place team with the worst record in baseball.

He must’ve paid off the Orioles.

Rain won’t help, it only delays the inevitable. A meteorite may be what’s called for. Not a big meteorite, something small and personal. Just big enough to take out the mound.

Guess who’s on the bump tonite? Pray of rain.

If losing to the Oriles isn't bad enough, we have this worthless piece of shit cock bag pitching tomorrow to most likely secure another series loss against the worst team in baseball.

you guys that want to get rid of Bird and Sanchez are compete morons. Do you guys know anything about baseball? Both of these guys have major talent and will work through some of their sophomore issues. You don't go from hitting to 15-20 HRs in a a few months as a rookie to not being able to perform. Don't be an idiot. Now as for Sonny Gray - HE SUCKS. He's an experienced pitcher so his decline is for real.

Whenever he pitches, it's always gray, never sonny.

Sonny has got to go. He's had enough chances to prove himself and has failed. Whenever he is slated to start, I don't even watch the game as I know it will be a loss. Cashman needs to admit that this was a bad signing and just dumo this guy. Yanks don't need him... call up Sheffield already. Or better yet, sign me. I'd be alot cheaper than Gray, but just as effective! Sucky Gray must go!!

Gray has to be demoted.

OMG, count the ways that Gray sucks

Cashman just trying to save face and Boone’s toeing the company line. I wish The Boss were still alive to take care of this albatross.

Not surprised to see Gray get lit up again. Cashman and Boone talk like they're using house money every time Gray pitches, that they want to build his confidence each outing. How many more chances is this guy going to get? The argument that he has "good stuff" is full of baloney. That was the argument that Gene Michael used to defend the godawful Jeff Weaver in 2003. Not sure what Cashman saw in him either. Both Weaver and Gray had -- in my view -- rather unremarkable W-L records. And having them come to the Yankees didn't do any good.

Again, another stinker ! DFA or release him. Minors probably not viable. Get this dead skunk out of the road. Blame Cashman for this exhorbitant mistake.

I think Gray is a meth head

Bird sucks. He’s an old ass looking 25-year-old.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 07 Jul 2018 02:43:08 GMT reply
And also, stop bashing on Bird - just give him time; he's coming back from lots of injuries. At least he has an excuse unlike Gray.

To be honest, because Sonny Gray is in the starting rotation, Boston will most likely win the division. Sonny Gray will put the Yankees back safe to say 5 - 6 games in the division race with Boston.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 07 Jul 2018 02:35:34 GMT reply
Maybe Cashman can trade Gray and Bird for a bag of baseballs!!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 07 Jul 2018 01:52:34 GMT reply
Face it, Sonny Gray is a lost case. Yankees will have to cough a prospect to get another team to take this loser clown. He is a hopeless head case. And Bird sucks to.

Gray has no movement or bite to his fast ball. His 92 mph pitch seems lazy
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 07 Jul 2018 01:47:43 GMT reply
At this point I would not pitch Gray against a little league team.
