Jim and his family had dinner at my restaurant Palmer's American Grill in Farmingdale NY after the second day of the 2009 open in Bethpage. I am trying to find out if I can get a photograph to put on my spirits room wall.

Mr.Jim Furyk, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!! I was there on Friday the 4th and watched you struggle a bit, but, I had a good feeling about you as I watched you play through the rough spots.

Jim, Simple..play(and putt) like you did at the Memorial, and the U.S. open is yours. Bethpage is indeed long, but, Muirfield is only about 10% shorter.Depending on pin placements, of course, muirfield's greens ARE tougher than Bethpage. Thank You, Paul

ps..great to talk to you at Rangers Stadium!

It is just painful to watch Furyk make a golf shot these days!!!

What is with him, address the ball, step away, address the ball step away...????

And then he makes a terrible shot!

Jim,

As a golfer with a pasty level of Melatonin I wonder what prepations you make prior to the match. Should you make the cut, do you do things differently ?

Jim, I want to get an 8 x 10 pic of you and have it signed by you for my son John Cooper, who is at PennOaks In West Chester, Pa.

It will be his 40th birthday in June. Arnold Palmer did his 30th picture for me.

I really hope this message gets back to Jim. Jim your putting stroke is too long through the ball. I watced some of your older footage and your winning stroke was much more poppy.
