Jim, Simple..play(and putt) like you did at the Memorial, and the U.S. open is yours. Bethpage is indeed long, but, Muirfield is only about 10% shorter.Depending on pin placements, of course, muirfield's greens ARE tougher than Bethpage. It is just painful to watch Furyk make a golf shot these days!!! What is with him, address the ball, step away, address the ball step away...???? And then he makes a terrible shot! |
