John, I was very disappointed to hear you're thinking of quitting the tour. I know things are tough right now but you have too many fans out here to leave. We need you and really want you. You're a hero losing all that weight and cutting back on your drinking. I did that twenty years ago and it takes a long time for the old body to get used to not having all that "GOOD STUFF" in the system. I also had to give up smoking. Try that all at one time. Blood pressure 220/170. Looked like a cherry bomb waiting to explode. I'm 67 years old now and have an 18 index. Trying to get it down. Having rotator cuff surgery this Tuesday. That should take twenty strokes off my game! If I thought that it could, I would have done it fourty years ago. Please don't leave. Sit back this week and look at all the people that you will disappoint! Hang in there!

After reading your book, Question. you refer to your mother's cooking of chocolate gravy and biscuits. & not being familiar with that type of gravy, does it refer to a white sauce or a cream gravy? I, along with my son were in the stands on the 18th fairway at Crooked Stick & truly enjoyed your refreshing march to an awesome win.
