Hi Steve,

Do you have an Uncle Jack who works in Dick's Sporting Goods in Martinsburg, WV?

Congrats Steve:
Been a fan for a long time and your good fortune is most deserved.  I have adopted your golf swing and playing the best golf ever for a guy in his 60's.
I hope to meet you in Tampa just to shake your hand.
We have mutual friends with Rick and Lynn and my daughter lives a couple of blocks from you as well.
Keep doing your best and truly a blessing for the game in light of all the other distractions.

Steve congratulations on this weekend win.  I have followed you most of your career since you started on tour.  I always enjoyed watching you and you wife at the tournaments together. When Roger Malby ask you that first question about the lows and the highs in your career I was truely moved by your genuine gentlemen attributes and the answer you gave Malby (another inview and you got me crying again).  I wish you and your family all the best; you are a true gentlemen Steve.  Always remember were you came from and the struggles you and your family endure to get you where you are today. All the best to you and your family.

Hi Steve - I first saw you play golf in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the Canadian Tour well before you made the PGA tour.  I fell in love with golf watching you play, and now am an avid golf.  Even though I am loyal to Mike Weir, being a Canadian, you will always be my favorite golfer.  I got your autography in Canada and again at the President's Cup last year in San Francisco.  I think you are an amazing player, a gentleman and a credit to the sport of golf.  I cheer for you at every golf tournament you play at.

My home town is Edgerton WI.  Steve and Scott are my cousins.  I would like to invite them to a golf tournament I'm hosting in Mebane NC as well as an invite to my wedding.  The reason for the tournament.  It would be really cool for them to come down there are a million courses near here.  Mill Creek is one of Payne's favorites and right where we will be playing.  Its going to be a small captians choice @ Quaker Creek arounf 7 to 10 teams.  I would like nothing in the world more for a wedding gift than to play golf with Steve and or Scott.  I used to work @ coachmans and have spoken to Scott before Im sure they dont remember me.  But what is the worst that can happen they say no thanks.  Never know unless you try.

Sincerely,

Jason R Hippe

I am wondering if steve does any motivational speaking. the Stoughton FFA would like to have him talk to students about what it takes to be a leader, to be successful, or just on how to deal with all the stresses in life.

please respond- we are looking at next January 2010 that would work.

We are a small independant school in Wisconsin and we have an auction every year to raise money for our scholarship fund.  One of our parents said if Steve would donate to play 9 holes of golf with the winner at our auction, one of our parents will bid up to $10,000! That would be a lot for our school.  Anyway to contact Steve to ask him to consider?  business@armitageacademy.org

Well another great day for Stricker fans.  He always seems to put himself in the mix and you just have to believe that he has a real good chance at PGA Championship.  No matter how he does, this has been a career year.

Steve is my favorite player since I'm from Ft. Atkinson, WI. My uncle Stanley Benson from Albion knew his parents. He's the one who told me about Steve many years ago and I always look for him. Congratulations on a great win at the John Deere Classic. You represent golf in such a professional manner.

I've been a fan of Steve's since I played with him in the pro-am of the Los Angeles Open in 1995!! Nikki was on the  bag and the pro-am was called after 9 holes due to rain.....but a great day.

Thanks, Steve!!
