Tim Herron is playing the 2011 PGA Tour using a one time only exemption for being on the top-50 list for career earnings. He thought about taking the exemption last year, but decided to try to earn his card back through sponsor exemptions and his status as a past champion. He started the 2010 year at No. 42 in career earnings and slipped to only No. 44.
