I met Rocco' wife while on a service call at Kinsington in Naples, FL. I thought she was one of the coolest women I had ever met. I don't know much about Rocco but I can say he made a grave mistake. It sounded to me like she loved him very much. He probably thought the grass was greener over there. I am sure he will regret it one day. Gary, All American Home Svc.

I was at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial this year and as i was eating in player dining, Cindi was sitting at a table across from me talking to another tour wife about how her and Rocco have romantic evenings together and how he bought her a very expensive watch, which she showed off to her friends. she also blabbed on and on about how her and Roccos relationship was so great because he is so loving to her. so i can tell you from a first hand account that they are in fact together and that they make NO attempt to hide it out on tour.

If you think you met Rocco's wife at the Wachovia Championship, you're wrong. That wasn't his wife, it was his mistress, Cindi. Is she telling people she's his wife, now? Does his real wife know? Where is she in all of this?

I personally met his wife at the Wachovia Championship and she is the sweetest most loving wife and I even told him that while we were chatting on the putting green. people need to quit judging other people and worry about themselves.

I can't even imagine why trashing these people would be so important to you.  I feel bad for you.

Here is a direct quote from the article...

"She saved me," Mediate said. "She saved my career. She's the absolute love of my life."

What kind of man says this about another man's wife? The feelings are real and they are obviously mutual.

Seriously. You all, including her son, live in la-la land. Oh, wait! Isn't that what LA is called? She IS his girlfriend. Read the articles. It's in black and white. EVERYONE on tour knows. They don't hide it. They stay in the same hotel rooms. They call each other darling, honey, etc. Please! Get your heads out of your you-know-whats!!!

Really? Perhaps you should take a look at the New York Times and take an exit from your dreamworld. Ask the caddies, they love to tell stories about Rocco's girlfriend. http://www.newsday.com/sports/golf/usopen/ny-sprocco0617,0,1578764.story

I've known Cindi and her husband for many years.  They are a lovely couple.  She made an enormous difference in Rocco's personal and professional life and he's grateful to her.  Cindi is an open, happy soul with debilitating health problems of her own, yet she never fails to reach out to help those around her who are in need.  She is an inspiration to many because of the grace and courage with which she conducts her life despite being, quite literally, at death's door.

Rocco isn't the only one she's helped--he's just the most famous.

Anyone who comes on here simply to spew negativity about a situation they know nothing about must have quite an unhappy little life and a dark, miserable soul.

The book describes how he took his KIDS to see Cindi in the hospital to meet her! Why would someone who wasn't having a therapist-with-benefits relationship take his kids to meet her in the first place? I pity those boys. And I pity her son, so very wrong or else trying to cover for them. (very noble, in a misguided way). I thought the book was about the US Open but it was more like how the therapist came in and took over the guy's life. Therapist in, wife and family out. The book is really stupid. Mediate says that he doesn't read books but he wrote one? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Pretty low for the actual author to have written something worthy of Star magazine.

Run, don't walk, to a book store and check out Rocco's book "Are you kidding me". It details how he is unbelievable happy with Cindi Hilfman and how he can't make any major or minor decision in his life without her guidance. It's embarrassing. Do you think Tiger or Phil refer to their physical therapists as their "best friend in the whole world"? Puhleez!

Geez you people...grow the hell up. You grab tiny shreds of rumour and heresay and you want to say the man is gay. Who the hell cares? Why don't you base your opinions on fact instead of inuendo.

Hilfman is on her second husband and sounds like she is looking for #3 in Rocco. I knew Hilfman when she was with hubby #1 and the word "faithful" is not in her dictionary. Her and Rocco deserve each other.

Alan Shipnuck from SI should give Linda a call and write an article from her perspective. All this garbage coming out of Mediate's mouth is nauseating. Shipnuck detests Rocco.

According to a Sports Illustrated article this week, Rocco left the wife and kids and is obsessed with MRS. Hilfman, calls her "darling," etc., even though she supposedly still lives with her husband.

People should be sensitive to the fact that Rocco's children most likely read this garbage. True or not, it's hurtful and embarassing. Focus your attention on something important and worth discussing.

I think you guys need to read the latest golf world --rocco is on the front and the article states that he and his wife are separated. And Rocco keeps going on and on about his physical therapist named Cindi Hilfman who he calls his "best friend". And by the way he and Cindi share a hotel room when they travel...hmmmm.

Read this article before you criticize or speculate on who Rocco is, or what he is about.  It might just shed some light.  http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2003/nov/16/family-roccos-ultimate-rush/
