I was one of the caddies at the LaSalle Bank Pro-Am at The Glen Club in the summer of 2005. I was a caddie in your foursome, think we won that day but I could be wrong. Anyway- you got a great swing and I was very impressed with your demeanor. Hope you do well in your future endeavors

Before my back surgery sent me to the Nineteenth Hole permanently, I looked forward to being around Springbrook when you had those few visits to "home". The way you were treated here I was just happy to see that you would still remember us!!  I miss being able to play in the weekend Chooseups with you and those Sat. afternoon Dog-fights, but, most of all, I miss seeing you on the TV and being able to brag that "I used to know him!" to anyone listening.  I hope you do know how many of us follow so closely and are living "the Tour" vicariously through you!!  Work hard and carry the banner high for Athens, Niota, And Springbrook.  We're really proud of you!!!    BGoodwin

Watched Eric grind out a Friday round at the AT&T this past weekend. My 8 year old and I were there to follow Stricker, but I couldn't help but notice Eric's beautiful wife walking outside the ropes. I told her to tell Eric he was sporting some sweet A pants (pink, plaid). She laughed and said she surely would. She was gracious enough to answer a few questions I had about Eric throughout the round (hadn't heard of Eric prior to watching him that day).

At the time, Eric needed a birdie on the 18th (actually the 9th at Congressional since they started on the 10th) to make the cut. He curled in a tricky 20 footer for the bird to the delight of the gallery, but especially to the few of us that followed him for the entire round, and super-especially to his wife who hopefully didn't mind the little slug I gave her on the shoulder as I yelped, "He's playing over the weekend!"  A pretty fun experience...good luck with the rest of your career, Eric!

Eric Axley is one of the most determined pro players on the PGA tour...I grew up playing in the Knoxville Junior Golf Association with him, which gave him alot of explosure to playing competitive golf..I remember watching Eric carry his golf bag which was bigger than he was...it was kind of funny watching this kid play with such determination and control on the course..I always considered him my friend and competitor on the course..btw almost 10 years went by and I didnt hear from him..I knew that he had went to ETSU in Johnson City and had a very good collegiate career...In 1995, I started dating a lady which turned out to be his 1st cousin...didnt realize that until we had dinner at his grandmothers house, and he showed up..I had no clue that he was related to this lady...to make a long story short..I am very proud of Eric and his accomplishment on and off the course..he has a beautiful wife and a lovely daughter...Eric I say this with true sincerity, I hope u become one of the most dominate players on tour...You have the talent and the drive to do so...Hopefully, ur friend, Jason Y...from La Follette, TN
