Klinsman actually subbed Mikey out of the game.

Unfortunately, Mikey didnt know where the bench was, cause his dad never pulled him out of a game.

Mikey's days are numbered as Holden and Edu are the future center mids.

"He told me that the reason for MBs move were personal troubles, because his girlfriend had an affair with Logan Bailly the Belgian goalkeeper at the time and he felt he had to get her away from him."

Who knows if this is true, but if it is, Michael is an idiot for 1) hurting his professional career by leaving his club and 2) marrying this ho instead of dumping her.

he shouldnt have even been on the team ! word is he is going to be a free agent this campaign, aston villa didnt want him the german club doesnt realy want him lol no on is putting in bids on him, some ppl say im mean or a dick for laughing at it but its his own fault. he really doesnt try to get better. he plays way to slow. usa could have had a chance to come back from counter attacks , but his dumbass would hold the ball in situations when they out number the other team in the back. And the only reason he played was because he is the coaches son. If we had a coach has now officially been call worst manager in concacaf by alot of national team managers and clubs. we dont even call him a manager here is ''coach'' thats why as long as he is there we wont win n e thing that matters with call ups like slow no vision no pace Micheal Bradley
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 28 Jun 2011 06:26:42 GMT

AND, he couldn't even connect on a signle pass!  How many times did he give the ball up???

I wish my daddy was the coach.

For the whole Gold Cup tourney, Michael Bradley was drifting into the back line as a 5th defender.  Did you notice that there was no midfield support during the Mexico game (also due to the fact that Jones shouldn't be playing and Edu should have been in).  Bradley gives his mark too much space - I'd say that he actually hindered his man less than 25% of the time.  Many of the goals were because he was too soft on defense or because he didn't track back.  But, maybe there's no one better.  Who else can we put Edu with?

I am a the biggest Bradley fan. The kid is a BEAST, so happy to see him at Aston Villa!! So I was shocked to realized I know his fiance, Amanda Barletta. I went to college with her ( GO RHODY), and I had no idea until I saw it on a friends FB. She was a journalism major with me. She was a few years younger. Honestly the nicest girl. She was on the tennis team, everyone called her the "pretty tennis player". I sat behind her in a class my senior year ...and it was not a bad view at all. Congrats MB! good luck in the UK.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Fri, 24 Dec 2010 01:29:12 GMT
Have any of you noticed that many of the plays that led to goals against the US were right through the middle? Its probably not a coincidence then that Bradley plays center mid and is walking around the field while other teams are scoring on us. I don't even think he would make a good ball runner..

Bob bradley is an amazing coach with a very good record who has brought the team very far.  I tink he should have his contract renewed and the players on the US national team have commented that also to reporters (that they want Bradley to remain coach).  And i disagree about the son of the coach not being allowed on that team.  Michael Bradley is an amazing soccer player who is wise and mature beyond his years and he did very well in his first world cup.  with the netherlands he scored 21 goals, and has done very well in Monchengladbach as well.  He has become a staple on the US national team and will only improve and become more instrumental (afterall he is still only 22 and has so much more to offer).  He has amazing determination that is boarder line obsession for the game and is deserving of his spot on the team (just as his father is deserving of his place as coach).  Theres no neopotism when it comes to Michael Bradley, just look at his record and watch his games to see that.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 23:50:01 GMT
Mexico's coach  "El Vasco" Aguirre just resigned from coaching the mexico team, I highly doubt Mr. Bradley will follow suit. Mr. Bradley is a man who cares more about himself than the team he is probably writing a persuasive letter to the punjabi in charge of the federation to renew his contract, well what can one expect from a shameless individual who blatantly sabotaged the USMNT's world cup chances.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 04:29:50 GMT
No Bob Bradley's contract should not be renewed. And I don't think coaches should be allowed to have their son on the National team (no matter what). You will note on that winning goal in OT against Ghana that someone forgot to pressure the ball prior to that long pass up the middle that resulted in the winning goal - yup - you guessed it - Michael Bradley. We always blame the keeper for the goals against but where is the pressure on the ball in the middle of the field? You want to see a couple of teams who work the ball up the field, watch Uruguay, Argentina, and of course, Spain. Kickball is not effective at this level of play, sorry BB. We (Team USA) need a coach like Oscar TABAREZ, this guy is a fantastic coach ... and he will bring a crew of assistant coaches with him - he can spot talent a mile away. Not sure if he even speaks English but if he does grab him after the World Cup at any cost. The guy can teach a team how to play together ... and demands patience on the field. Tabarez is a winner with a capital T!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 29 Jun 2010 04:16:39 GMT

Be honest here. Do you think that Michael Bradley should have started every game? We have Feilhaber, Adu, and Holden to choose from in this spot (and so many others).  Holden didn’t get any time and Adu almost none.  Bob Bradley’s son ..played every minute.  Benny Feilhaber when subbed in, played so dam well.  Somebody try to explain to me how Felhaber didn’t earn a starting spot…(forget Bradley)…

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 29 Jun 2010 02:36:16 GMT
Michael Bradley was a integral part of this team.  True that he had a bad showing against Ghana, but give the Ghana defense some credit, they were able to keep the Germans to 1 goal.  Also, the Ghana team had only allowed 3 goals in the whole tournament, so it isn't a surprise that they were able to keep the US offense from scoring.  The questions that need to be asked are: 1) why was Freddy Adu left out of the squad?  He may be immature, but he plays competitive European soccer and tries to beat people on the run... kinda what we are missing. 2) what was wrong with the defense? Demerit was good on the wing, but had the tendency to be out of position, and Bocanegra seemed to get beat by the younger, faster Ghana strikers. 3) If Onyewu was unfit to compete at the World Cup level, then why did you bring him along?  was he really the difference maker in defense? the lack of speed in defense was key.. 4) conditioning... honestly I thought that the one redeeming quality about the US national team was that they ran their butts off, but it seemed that they were not any faster in the 82nd minute than Ghana.  If you are going to claim to be the guys who are in the best shape, then you should probably be able to run for 90 minutes at full speed.
Overall the US performance at WC 2010 was a lackluster one.  The team never dominated anyone, never played a style that showed confidence.  Though there was drama, we should have beaten a confused English side, and dominated the other two matches, but we never got going.  I believe that Bob Bradley is a good coach for a team that is lacking fundamentals, but he lacks the vision, as a coach, to get the best skills out of each individual player.
Good luck in 2014 Team USA, I know that we will be a better team because the talent we have produced has gotten profoundly better with more players playing in Europe.

It seemed like every time Michael Bradley got an opportunity to get a shot on goal he flubbed it. Daddy even drew up a play on a free kick in front of the Algeria game and Bradley kicked it right to the goalie even though he had some room to work with on either side of the goal. He kicked another right to the goalie when he had an open net against Slovenia and in the Ghana match Bradley had a wide open left side of the net with the goalie on the ground and he kicked it on the ground right to the goalie. I am sorry but if you are a profesional player who has to play some offense then that is a goal that either A) you score on about 90% of the time, or B) you kick it just wide to the right about 9.9% of the time. The other .1% are sorry pieces of crap like Bradley who think the entire goalie is a 5 hole.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 28 Jun 2010 18:13:34 GMT

I am sorry to see such an unjustice to other players who where denied an opportunity to show what they can do for their country. Michael Bradley was during most of the games an spectator inside the field, getting the ball while walking or jogging, and making mistake after mistake tryng to pass the ball. It is also sad that Coach Brandley allowed his Son to play every minute of every game, which shows his personal feelings get in the way of unifying the team and create more effective team work.I am sure the rest of the players in the team are aware of Michael's shortcomings as a player but are reluctant or afraid to raise a complaint. Michael Bradley made very little effort to engage opponents and cover his area of responsability in the midfield . I hope in the future we have more knowledgeable people directing the efforts of the USA team.

I don't know if he's engaged but it is true that he is in a relationship with some girl named Amanda Barletta. She is friends with his sister on Facebook and I saw the picture of them together. If you find Michael's sister Facebook, you can search for her profile under that name. Though it is locked, from her default picture, she's a very beautiful brunette!

This is the first time that I have watched the world cup. I know nothing about soccer nor team USA. There has been a lot of media coverage on the US team so I decided to watch the US vs. Ghana match. During the first half of the game my eye kept drifting to #4 on the US team and I was thinking to myself that this guy seems to be walking a lot. As time went on I kept watching him and really started to think that maybe he had the flu or something and was trying to take it easy. Finally toward the end of the game I really thought that this #4 player looked terrible. He pretty much walked the entire game, made terrible passes, and overall did not look like someone that should be on the US team yet alone playing.  I just did a google search to find out who #4 is on the US team and found out its Michael Bradley who apparently is the COACHE’S SON!!!   That is great. When I used to play sports competitively we used to joke about players being the coach’s son. They were the ones that were terrible but for some reason got lots of playing time.   This explains everything now. Way to go team US.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 27 Jun 2010 15:31:22 GMT
This really shows that the coach has no integrity. His son has played evey game, the whole game... and he's terrible. Watch him walk up and down the field. 90% of the time he is unmarked which shows that the opposition has 0 respect for his ability. His goal this World Cup was a gift and all he cared about all game. 0 defensive skills.

The guys at ESPN blame Clark for the first Ghana goal, but who do you think sent the hospital ball to him, leading to his bad touch? Bingo.

When Bradly is in a bad position, he dumps the ball off to somebody in a worse position.

You're high if you think that there's nobody in our country of 350 million people that deserves a spot on our starting 11 more than Bradley.

So torres, feilhaber and beasley are inferior players compared to michael bradley? this must be why they were on the bench today....how about Adu? Adu wasn't even called to the world cup, why bob bradley? oh maybe because you know they are quick players with creatiity and can play better than your son michael, and lets be honest you wouldn't bench your little babyboy michael bradley would you?

it's sad that the federation turns the other way when there is clear nepotism going on with bradley and his son. all you pseudoUSsoccer fans who support this endomorph casper looking motherfuker clearly don't know about socccer.

Watching the first game of teh World Cup it's easy to see he has no real skill off or on the ball. He may be scared or just out of his ability to play with the rest of the world on this stage. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for the first game to nerves, but watching this second game it's easy to see he is terrible. He's not the cause of the US losses, but he does factor into the bigger picture and as a midfielder, he shoulders the bigger part of the blame. His father must be proud and blind because he will loose because of this choice.

Bob Bradley is pathetic and should be fired for his nepotism, impotent coaching abilities and his awful player selection. Altidore, Bradley, Clark, and Onyewu should all be benched immediately.... Given the current (poorly selected)roster and the typical 4-4-2 formation... We need to have Buddle at forward along with Landon Donovan playing as a withdrawn forward underneath him. This will allow our best player(Donovan) to get more touches on the ball and to create more opportunities. In the midfield we need Torres and Feilhaber in the middle with Dempsey and Holden on the wings. In the back we really need Goodson and Bocanegra in the middle with Cherundolo and Spector on the outsides. This is all my opinion of course, but it comes from objectively watching the quality of the team's play fluctuate with the lineup changes. Torres elevates out team and improves both the offense and defense in the midfield. HE even makes Micheal Bradley look better when he is in the game. The fact that he is playing CLark over TOrres and ONyewu over Goodson is shame and screams of nepotism and favoritism. Adu is one of the US's greatest assets and he isn't even in the picture. BOB Bradley said that if you aren't playing and starting for your(top-level) pro team then you would not make or play for the US MNT..... BUT.... Michael Bradley doesn't always start for his club, CLark is a bench warmer at Eintracht, Altidore is nothing for Villareal or Hull, Onyewu.... well we all know that he was let go and had to agree play for free to stay on at AC MIlan(pathetic), BEASLEY????.... he never plays for the Rangers.... Why not try BRad Davis or Freddy Adu instead of wasting a spot on BEasley????. I will always support the team but it is painful to see what BOB is doing to it. US soccer is at a level that it has never been before and I think we have the players to compete with the big boys, but until we get a good coach to define our style, teach that style and pick the right players to play that style we will always be mediocre. FIRE BOB!!!!!

It has to be frustrating for the superior players on the bench, watching this kid play and thinking, "How is he starting over me?"  It has to be equally frustrating for the guys on the pitch that actually belong there and have to play with such an inferior talent.  Ricardo Clark isn't any better.  My wife says Bob starts Clark so his kid isn't the worste player on the field.

He has no offensive creativity.  He passes the ball out of bounds.  He didn't even start on the U19 team and then his daddy became the coach and all of the sudden he starts for the men's national team.  Center mids should be the strongest players on the field, not the weakest.  Teams know they can attack the US midfield and not have to worry about defending because Bradley will always start, so long as Bob is the coach.

he sucks

He really hurts our team. If you watch him play he freezes when he gets the ball ipassed to him. We need a middle midfield player who can support the strikers and create opportunities. Get him out of the starting lineup.

he is a huge liability.  always allows attacker to turn to face the goal as opposed to keeping their backs against the goal.  We will lose a game or two because of him.

That game against England was one of the worst displays by Bradley I've ever seen. I understand that it was against more difficult opposition but Bradley actually made it harder for every single one of his teammates on the field. Evidence: If you watch the England game MB almost NEVER actively engages the player with the ball in front of him. He simply back pedals and back pedals. This allows the player to run directly at him and causes massive gaps in the defense because the other players have to compensate for the possibilities presented by this oncoming opponent. Watch ANY OTHER CENTER MID on any quality team and they are on you constantly. This rushes the opposing teams passes which makes their teammates less efficient. Thats only half the story though. The center mid has to be the player who is the most confident on the ball and actually DESIRES THE BALL at all times. Watch a class center-mid and he is asking for the ball with 3 people guarding him. MB though lurks. How many times did he make a run or even show space for an outlet for his teammates. Just like on defense, a passive center-mid compounds the mistakes of a team as a whole because instead of a controlled pass they have to boot the ball; more running less possession more running. Game over U.S. because MB somehow starts over much more dynamic players.

He is a scum bag. I am totally embarrassed with what this jerkoff has done to our squad. And getting rid of Heath Pearce was just a total mistake. For all his flaws, the guy is a playmaker. That is what we lack, playmakers. Instead what we have is his son, a talentless player who can't possess the ball. I am totally deflated. We pose no threat in this tournament. We can't win. What a shame. It is a shame because we will continue to be a second class futbol nation. It is a shame because guys who can play aren't out there. Instead they are getting robbed by Bradley's selfish nepotism and ineptitude as a coach. It's just a shame. I am so sick of this nonsense. Where do we pick these jerkoffs like Bradley? Can we find a guy who knows what he is doing, to turn us into a nation that has a shot on the international stage?

This guy doesn't look like he knows where he is at. He doesn't even look like he's trying... he sucks.

It's obviouse that everywhere Michael Bradley has played soccer, his father has helped him make the team and play. No matter what anyone says, he would not be on any US National or professional teams if it wasn't for his father. He knows it, his Dad knows it, everyone that is aware of him knows it. If Bob Bradley is consciously playing his son in front of better players, then his karma will return to him in most likely a more unpleasant way. So, what can be done about it to make it stop? It's happening in every sport and job in the world.

Michael Bradley can hustle his ass of but thats all I give him.  He is terrible on the ball and if he has to make a pass longer than 10 yards its going to the other team.  Bob bradley looks like a zombie and loves to dick ride his son. He probably deserves to be on the team but never should be a starter.  Torres and EDu should hold down the center mid.  And for the guy who thinks people dont know anything about soccer because they think Bradley sucks is an idiot.  If you think michael bradley is good and truly deserves to start over edu or torres then you are probably Michael Bradley himself or just some random lame.

Hey Douche... does anyone in the states really give a hairy rat's ass about soccer...or anyone involved in this stupid F'cking game ?

Wow.. you people all clearly know nothing about soccer and should all be lined up and shot.  Its fair-weather fans like you that make me sick.  Everyone except you ignoramuses knows that Michael Bradley warrants his place in the starting XI.  Bradley plays with a fire every time he's on the field.  He never stops running, tackles with force, and distributes very well given the fact that he's only 22.  He's essentially our engine in the center of the pitch, a la what Steven Gerrard is to liverpool.  Our team would be soooo much worse of if Mike wasn't on the roster.  Not only is he one of the top three outfield players on our team (with Landon and Deuce, who you all also probably think low of) but he is our one player who has the ability to develop into a truly world class player, which is something the USA has yet to produce..  In conclusion you people all suck and I hope you suffer a stroke when Bradley strikes from the 18 against England

-thank you

Michael Bradley is terrible and should probably not be on the roster.  He was by far the worst player against Turkey yet the offense was running through him.  Obvious abuse of coach's power to play his son that is going to embarass us once again in the world cup.  If he plays the way he did against Turkey his father should be out of a job.

This site is run by a tool named Randy Morin from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He created this website to try and extort money from athelets and their families. He allows posts to be put on here that are hurtful and then charges them to have the posts removed. In the United States this is a punishable offense, but I guess in Canada any lowlife can try and make a buck. Here is this tools phone number if you would like to call him and give him a dose of his own medicine or if you just want to drop by his house. 416 802 7968. Please call him and check for further posts and I will give out his address if he does not get rid of this website

He is AWFUL. It is such a joke how his dad plays him so much. Leave Freddy Adu home and take this guy? They should have laughed Bob Bradley right out of his job.

Michael Bradley just slows down play way too much and isnt good at counter-attacking often laying the ball back rather than take the opportunity for a one-on-one. Hes not a great passer hes not a great defensive option, hes not a great shooter, he doesnt have good touch at all, hes been overcoached and has lost the element of surprise that all good players possess, but he is the coaches son

I agree this collusion that is taking place in the U.S team is terrible, can you believe Adu will miss the worldcup, and michael bradley will surely play every minute in RSA.
