Well it's official...in the San Diego newspaper, Rocco called Cindi Hilfman his girlfriend since the 08 US open...the only question is why is Greg Hilfman putting up with it? Someone needs to clue this poor guy in...

He was there because they ARE in a relationship, I know this for a fact due to my relations to him. His wife is aware and and they are currently going through seperation because of his and Cindi's affairs. If you ask me she's just another low-life golddigger , that's the impression she always has given me. I'm sure he'll realize his mistakes later , if not I feel bad for him.
And Michael, stop acting like you don't know what kind of person your mother is. Your attempts at covering for her aren't going to work when they display their affection publicly. Nice try though ;)

Rocco was recently quoted for defending Tiger and saying he deserves a break because he "made a mistake". which is pretty funny considering Rocco is having an affair with another man's wife. cheating is cheating folks...

Hi Rocco,
Just came across your fan club because I wanted to thank you... for the color and entertainment you bring to professional golf (your US Open playoff with Tiger was a fantastic tournament!) and to now thank for you positive radio comments about Tiger Woods and the whole unfortunate situation he is in. Its nice to see you tell the press and the mob to Leave Him Alone, and give Tiger and his wife some space to work things out. It was so hard to hear Jespers harsh comments about Tiger on the Golf Channel, so it was good to hear a more positive interview and outlook from another pro golfer!
I wrote in the following to an NBC sports online forum that had some people encouraging Tiger to get through this and others who just tossed him under the bus:
"To all you people who don't know Tiger Woods and don't really know what really did happen in this whole situation, and seem to enjoy bringing him down and calling him trash and stupid and all kinds of other negative things..... why don't you just work on your own transgressions and sins and failings! Let him and his wife work out THEIR situation.
The world would be a much better place if people and nations wanted the best for each other and learned how to really love one another. Try wishing others the best when they are down. Try saying a prayer for someone who is having difficulty or who made a mistake and is feeling grief and anxiety and pain...
Why don't we all think and pray some good thoughts for him and Elin and family so they can stay together... the world does not need another broken family. Tiger has done a lot of good and is a good person, in spite of his shortcomings and mistakes and failures... and no one here yet knows what really happened in this case which is just charged with plenty of speculation and gossip..... not solid facts. How would you like to have your worse mistake put out in public like with all kids of untrue aspects to it and then have a crowd (a mob might be a better word here) of people try and convict you!
I frankly, think the world has had enough of all this. Leave the guy and his family alone... "
I wish you all the best in the upcoming New Year and in the 2010 Tour season! (PS: Do you ever make comments here on this fan forum?)

I met Rocco' wife while on a service call at Kinsington in Naples, FL. I thought she was one of the coolest women I had ever met. I don't know much about Rocco but I can say he made a grave mistake. It sounded to me like she loved him very much. He probably thought the grass was greener over there. I am sure he will regret it one day. Gary, All American Home Svc. |

I was at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial this year and as i was eating in player dining, Cindi was sitting at a table across from me talking to another tour wife about how her and Rocco have romantic evenings together and how he bought her a very expensive watch, which she showed off to her friends. she also blabbed on and on about how her and Roccos relationship was so great because he is so loving to her. so i can tell you from a first hand account that they are in fact together and that they make NO attempt to hide it out on tour. |

This US Open was rough for the man Rocco but is still awesome! Can't win them all but can sure try. I love his perseverance and how he keeps on even though people talk so badly about him. Characteristic of a true athlete. On top of that the man is an awesome person. What more can you ask for. He definitely deserves to be invited as one of sports' top 25 legends to some big poker tournament this fall. Rocco definitley Rocks! Keep pushing dude!

I've known Cindi and her husband for many years. They are a lovely couple. She made an enormous difference in Rocco's personal and professional life and he's grateful to her. Cindi is an open, happy soul with debilitating health problems of her own, yet she never fails to reach out to help those around her who are in need. She is an inspiration to many because of the grace and courage with which she conducts her life despite being, quite literally, at death's door.Rocco isn't the only one she's helped--he's just the most famous. Anyone who comes on here simply to spew negativity about a situation they know nothing about must have quite an unhappy little life and a dark, miserable soul. |

The book describes how he took his KIDS to see Cindi in the hospital to meet her! Why would someone who wasn't having a therapist-with-benefits relationship take his kids to meet her in the first place? I pity those boys. And I pity her son, so very wrong or else trying to cover for them. (very noble, in a misguided way). I thought the book was about the US Open but it was more like how the therapist came in and took over the guy's life. Therapist in, wife and family out. The book is really stupid. Mediate says that he doesn't read books but he wrote one? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Pretty low for the actual author to have written something worthy of Star magazine.

Run, don't walk, to a book store and check out Rocco's book
"Are you kidding me". It details how he is unbelievable happy with Cindi Hilfman
and how he can't make any major or minor decision in his life without her
guidance. It's embarrassing. Do you think Tiger or Phil refer to their
physical therapists as their "best friend in the whole world"? Puhleez! |

Rocco, The most exciting golf I've ever watched. I know it's by no means at the same level, but at 36 , I played point guard in a 2 outta 3 championship playoff in basketball in one night. We ultimately won after 3 games that night and I couldn't get outta bed the next day. I was spent and couldn't even walk after I cooled off. I fully felt for once, especially playing against/with opponents and teammates 10 or more my youth, that I left nothing on the playing field. As proud as I am for my efforts that day, watching you blew me away and reinforced my will to win and perform under incredible amounts of stress. Like I said, I know what you did is on another level, but afteall, it's all relative. Had my jump shot or assist had a million bucks behind it, I'm not sure if I would have been inspired by the opportunity to win it or scared of missing to lose it. But, watching you, I could tell you really only cared about winning. Either way, Bravo! I play golf, too, but every time I swing the club, I have no idea what the outcome. Here's to kissing you're butt. God Bless and good luck! |

I don't understand why you are getting so worked up about Rocco Mediate and the accusation that he is gay. You are almost to the point of being "violently" defending this man. You have no personal interest in Rocco Mediate. He exhibited some "characteristics" of gay behavior or this question would not even be out there. If he's not gay, OK, big deal. Your derisive defense is so totally out there I just can't begin to understand it. Why on earth would you get so incredibly worked up over this? You have no ties to this man, you are in no way personally involved; why the derision and anger? It's like getting worked up over what time it is in China. You have no "dog in the fight" there is no rooting interest. Perhaps you are one of those people who just likes to get worked up, the very thing you are trying to denounce in your response. Hmmm...???? |

Or do what you probably do best, get to the bar so you're not late for happy hour & be sure to punch out from your minimum wage job before you leave. I'm sure understanding what it takes to work so hard for something as Rocco has escapes your very being. He doesn't wear a wedding ring because he never has. Rings bother him when he plays and he doesn't want to lose it by taking it off and on. He also doesn't wear a watch when he's playing. Does that mean he can't tell time?

I can assure you he is not gay nor is he a closet gay. Don't you people have better things to do with your own life than to worry if some guy you don't know is or isn't gay? Pathetic. You must be frighteningly homophobic or closet gays yourselves.
