Erik unfortunately missed the cut today at the Farmers Insurance Open. This was his first cut missed this year. Torrey Pines does not play to Erik's strength and is a long and arduous course. This fact and being a heart transplant patient twice in his life, the last fairly recent, does show his competitiveness to play any venue on the tour. I wish him luck in the coming weeks and I believe he WILL be rookie of the year!

Excellent round for Erik today. -11 was an excellent tournament. After the tournament in Maui last week, he is 2 for 2 in making the cut. By the end of the year, I know he will be one of the years top 3 rookies of the year. What a story'! He has incredible drive and a movie will be made about him in short time. Go Erik!!
