At first I was upset that no US networks or cable channels did not air the gold cup, but after witnessing Dempsey's poor sportmanship during the awards ceremony in pasadena, I realize that Dempsey Jerk did not deserve to be on any US network. He should not even be wearing a US uniform. The only thing he is good for is cleaning PORT-O-POTTIES. LOSER!!!!!

Dempsey is a poor sportsman. He showed that he deserved to be on a losing gold cup team. He was very rude during the award ceremony in pasadena. I used to be a us fan. No longer. US soccer, get better representatives.

Clint Dempsey is the man. He's creative, and aggressive. And every team needs at least one "dirty player." Emotion is a part of the game, and Clint uses that to his advantage. So step off.

Dempsey is the most overrated player for the US. He has a terrible first touch, a weak shot, and he dives like many international stars. He will give up on a play when others will find a way to win the ball back. His only achievements in the 4 World Cup matches were the Green goal mistake and taking a dive that lead to a Donavan pk goal (although since it was a dive it is more embarrassing than it was an accomplishment). So our leading shot taker (20) ends up with one of the luckiest World Cup goals ever.
At this level of play, after all of the the hype, you should be able to put the ball into the back of the net.

Dempsey is a dirty player - much in the vein of Italy. He dives a lot and plays as if he were a fragile old woman when handling the ball while pulling some brute attacks when the refrees aren't looking.

Donovan must hate his life for having to be on the same team as such an old MLS skilled player. The USA, ESPECIALLY ALTIDORE (be him young or not - don't forget that S. Americans in their youth are deadly and this is the difference as to why USA isnt a contender) have the skillset of MLS players...just pathetic.

Dempsey also makes very bad hip hop...I mean very bad...
