He is a Disgrace...Klinsman Take Him Out
He scores avergely 2 goals a Year For the US
While u have strikers like david villa scoring 15 a year

Last night's game against Costa Rica was awful. Yet another classic Altidore, sub par example of why the US cannot win with this guy in front.  IS HE EVER ONSIDE?  I've never seen a more listless player ever.  He's got to go.

What is wrong with Altidore? What is he trying to say by not observing proper etiquette and placing his hand over his heart during the national anthem? He is representing the US, after all.

I agree with everyone on this page. I love US soccer, but altidore sucks. I have never seen him do anything well during a game. Absolutely pathetic.

Oh my god! Glad i found this forum because i have to constantly b!tch at my wife at how frustrating it is that Jozy is on the national team!!! He has no touch, cannot escape pressure and does not impose himself as a threat by making himself available. He just waits for someone to give him the ball and then usually loses it!!! Charlie Davies would be a HUGE improvement in work ethic alone not to mention sheer skill!

Jozy we end up playing in the Greek league or coming back to mls. I use to really like the guy. Watch all his games. But after his loan with hull I came to the conclusion that he thinks he is special. He is not or will never be a star . He doesn't listen to coaches that tell him to train. So now villareal what's to sell him because he is worthless. Ajax was only interested in a loan. Jozy will be like adu a woulda coulda shoulda. But instead hung out at the beach and twittered. You suck jozy and I don't think you have or should get a chance for the next world cup squad. No ball control bad additude plus you have a horrible resume without absolutely nothing to show for it. YOU SUCK

Jozy lacks skill and a power shot. Jozy is a big body great for corners and free kicks and thats it. He doesnt have the skill to get past a defender. Its not Jozy's fault. My god I play club soccer where there are many more skilled players than Jozy and are probably faster.

Absolutely horrible! No initiative, no urgency of play, no execution, and absolutely no heart. He looked like Ronaldo when he joined Inter. A lot of hype with zero production but at least Ronaldo played his ass off for his country! But in fairness, its not Jozi Atlisucks fault. Its that *&^%* moron of a coach Bradley's fault entirely. Who experiments with the roster during the World Cup?!! He should've kept the same roster that scored 3 (yes it was 3) goals in one half. Or maybe, just maybe; put in the leading goal scorer in MLS and who plays/ practices with Donovan everyday.... uh humm Buddle. Altidore and Bradley (coach) both need to go home and stay there.

Jozy Altidore is a chump.  Edson Buddle is benched almost the entire tournament after scoring, not one, but TWO goals against Australia in the International Friendly before the Cup, and Bradley puts in Jozy who seriously just FAILED at finishing.

I understand the pressure, but there were some opportunities where I seriously could have regained composure and put the f***ing ball in the net, and this kid gets paid to do this.

I love American soccer, so I want him to improve, but is performance was sophomoric at best during this Cup, and there were certainly strikers benched that proved capable of producing goals.

Between Altidore and Findley, it was a complete shit show up top. Neither could control a touch, and they literally took turns not finishing golden scoring chance after golden scoring chance the whole tournament. ZERO goals between the two. I don't know who's worse...but it's a shame because the USA actually had two forwards who actually CAN score sitting on the bench...Edson Buddle and Hercules Gomez.

Donovan,Dempsey and Bradley are the only ones who actually score and they're all midfielders. Altidore has a good technique but HE CANT EXECUTE FOR SHIT!!
