I have collectors edition Nolan Ryan bobbleheads, brand new in box for sale on ebay. If anyone is interested email me at sharper@realtracs.com. They are about 6 inches tall, made of cold-cast ceramic and are full detailed. They are a great piece to add to a collection. To see a picture on ebay or to bid, the item number is 110362883236 or you can do a search for Nolan Ryan bobbleheads. Thanks! |

Growing up in Canada as a baseball fan, of course I was a Blue Jays fan. I was born in 1982 so I did not really se all of Nolan Ryan's career, however I did get to see Ryan in the latter part of his playing days. I played ball growing up and I was a pitcher so of course I wanted to be a flame thrower just like Nolan Ryan. I remember playing out in the backyard pretending I was Nolan Ryan in the world series in the bottom of the 9th and blowing one past Kirby Puckett. So of course when my girlfriend and I found out she was pregnant last year I could find no other name that I could name my little boy then Nolan. I can only dream that he grows up to be a ball player with half of the ability that Ryan posessed to throw the way he did day in and day out. |

Week one is finally upon us, and as we’ve done each year here on NFL Gridiron Gab, it’s time to throw out predictions as to who is going to walk away a winner this week. With what is going to be a busy weekend, here are my picks for the 16 games on the NFL slate starting with the Thursday night showdown. Thursday: Washington at NY Giants (-4) The Giants start their defense of their Super Bowl win with a Thursday night game vs division rival Washington. The preseason started great for Wash |
