why are you so surprised about the hit he played only one way even when he was a kid in Winnipeg DIRTY AND HIT FROM BEHIND ALL THE TIME 12 games was not enough what he did was criminal the league dropped the ball on this one.

Sorry. I have suspicion about him being genuinely sorry, he hit two people from behind in a matter of a few minutes. Thank goodness he got caught on the second one. Twelve games when he could have killed some one, or put him permanently in a wheelchair. Brad Hornung should have been on the deciding panel and ask him how fair twelve games is!!!

Are you kidding me. You call yourself a hockey player. You should be wearing black/white and behind bars because what you did is criminal and you should be charged not just suspended. I hope your career goes down in the garbage bin just where it should be. DISGUSTING!!!

Appalling behaviour. Goon hockey or just the play of someone who just doesn't care about another human being. I don't know what else to say. Hope Brendan learns a hard lesson and the other guy is OK.

That was a scary sight to behold. Brendan made a deliberate attempt to injure another player which was most alarming. No excuses permitted "like it happened in the heat of battle". The guy could have been killed. It was awful to watch and should be severely punished.
