There is no question that this kid has talent. He has worked hard to attain all that he has achieved. Is he cocky, arrogant, not well liked by his teammates ? Yes, Yes and Yes. But is he successful ? - YES. Some people don't care what you have to do, to "make it". That's what Evander's about. You don't have to like him (cuz many don't), but you have to admire a kid who has a goal, and lets nothing stand in the way of achieving it. He may not have a lot of friends - but he's in the NHL. He is, what he is. |

Attitude or not, Kane's headed the NHL where most assume he will continue to grow and help whichever team drafts him. I know more than few NHL players and they all have a bit of streak that at times can make them very unlikeable, (except Teemu Selanne, who everybody loves). I think this streak helps them on the ice when they channel it into their play. Good luck Evander! (Especially if LA drafts you!) |

hhahahah thats a great comment below me. I totally agree. People are probably hating on him because they would love to have his skill set As they say, jealousy and hate are female emotions. The kid is what like 18 years old. Your criticizing this kid on his attitude. Ridicolous. His attitude seems fine to me and he will only grow more mature as he ages. Kane has got it. You dont. Get over it. Work harder, maybe you will be where he is. He didnt get there by luck. And for the people threatening to kick his ass, that's called uttering threats and you can be charged for that dickhead. |

Most times we see him on tv or in reports he comes off as a level headed kid, not perfect but no monster or anything.. I think you're full of shit honestly. maybe mad that he's succeeding while you're stuck in house hockey? :) |
