I am white. How can anybody think that Serena Williams is not super hot both on and off the court! As for her getting upset at the line judge, I think everyone has yelled at thier line judge in life at one time or another. The point is, why not enjoy watching her play and pose? I do.

Serena Is the best tennis player(female)in the world. Serena looks great in ESPN. If people can't  see this, they are ignorant. For myslf, I enjoy watching play both on and off the court, in all human circumstances.

I would just like to say that I am a big fan of Serena & Venus Williams. I would dare to say that every human being, at some point or another, has break downs. Unfortunately, she is in the public eye so her's become instanly controversial. I can recall having the same type of breakdown in college during a tennis match. It happens to all of us, but nobody cares because there are not thousands of spectators watching us and we do not have 6 camera's zoomed in on our every move or gesture. I say, do not judge her on her outburst! We do not know of any going on's she may have in her personal life that may have fueled those outburst. I'm sure that she was aware that camera's were on her, spectators were watching and that deep down in side she regrets the profanity she used and she will come to recognize it in the week ahead and apologize. All you have to do is observe the work that both Serena and Venus has done off of the tennis court, to see that this is not their real side. She is human like all of us. This is coming from a 43 yr old straight male from deep in the heart of Mississippi. If I can understand, then all of the critics should!

Venus & Serena, I personally appreciate what you have done for the game of tennis. From the off court charity work you do to participating in the Olympics. Something that most U.S. Tennis players will not do in fear off getting injured. Props to both of you.

Regards,

James V Garner, Biloxi, MS

I like your fire!  Unfortunately too many people either wish not to, or deceive themselves into being "right" when they do not understand the subtleties of a personality developed within this wider community that we call America.  Why is it that when some people react similarly it seems that it is rationalized away as being some kind of inherent right?  I love what you, your sister and your family have done.  As an aging African American I can only say that one had to have been there in the past to understand the profound impact that you and others have made.  Remember: no one is perfect, and those that think they are too often practice selective criticism.  I look forward to your next match.

Serena society haven't change and they wanted the come back mom to win even those you didn't come out there with your best game. The two of you should reallize where you stand and if you going to come out on the court you need to step out their at your best all the time.

Hey Serena! I've never played tennis. But i know fitness. And while you are still a great player. Being 41years old and in pretty good shapestill. Today i saw you on tv for the first time in a while playing in the French Open. Your letting your fitness slip somewhat. And i know your best tennis is yet tocome in your career still. The young players coming up are going to define your career and your history in this sport. Your ability to remain visually fit will be key in your future. I not hating! 'Just saying! If you are ever in Toronto. E-mail me at magnetoxman69@hotmail.com . I would like to help in anyway i can. Good luck S.W

Legend
Based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story "The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton," this two-hour 1991 adaptation for the most part sticks close to the details of the original. Holmes (Jeremy Brett) takes on the reputed king of all blackmailers, Milverton (Robert Hardy), who has made a fortune extorting money from the famous and the blueblooded and who routinely ruins others' lives when not pleased. Unable to talk Milverton into turning over letters belonging to Lady Eva Brackenwell, Holmes decides to steal them, going undercover as a plumber and even romancing Milverton's housemaid, Agatha (Sophie Thompson), to gain better access in the house. (The ethical Watson, played by Edward Hardwicke, is upset to hear of Holmes's deception of an innocent woman.) The story builds to a surprisingly violent finale, but the real hook is Brett's performance as the disguised detective and the startling suggestion that Holmes's close contact with Agatha truly moved the bachelor sleuth. --Tom Keogh

Serena and Venus:  PLEASE get a professional coach.  We want to see you win and see you both making errors which could be minimized by some good coaching!!!!!!!!!!  You are both strong athletically, have had a great career, but it could be much greater at this point.  Injuries, losses in early rounds, etc.  We'd love to see what you could both do with some great coaching.  PLEASE!!!!!
